I bought this book on a whim. I had little idea it would make such a big impact on my game. The book does a good job of helping you, through examples and constuctive mental drills, to calm your mind and (in my case) stop being emotional when you make less than perfect shots. There's much more to it than that, but those 2 attributes alone have successfully kept me from letting my emotions destroy the rest of my round. I'm not playing perfect golf after reading the book, but I'm able to get back on track and now take one shot at a time without beating myself up and ruining any chance of enjoying the round. I've discovered that I have a "perfect swing" inside me for every situation and, if I can quiet my mind, it will have a better chance of revealing itself. When I was taught golf (25 years ago) this mental aspect was left out, but I now believe it (or some other form of mental training) should be part of every teaching curriculum. This book is not for everyone, but I've gained new momentum toward lower scores that just wasnt possible before I started applying these lessons.
