I'm a high-handicap player who has just taken golf up after a 10 year 'retirement'. I'm not horrible for a beginner, I usually break 100, but a 95 is considered a good round for me.
My irons are TaylorMade and I've been happy when them. One thing I noticed was when I would hit a shot fat, the club would often twist in my hands, creating the dreaded shank.
Since regripping with the Golf Pride Multi-compound, I have not had this issue happen once in the 4 rounds I've played since. Not a large sample size, but I can really tell a difference in my clubhead control. I also feel a lot more confident stepping up with a 4 or a 5 iron now, knowing that I'll have that improved control. I'm VERY happy with this purchase.
