best value in the grip world
Date: September 17, 2008
Great feel, tacky (instills a sure feel), soft enough to pound out a bucket of balls without feeling like your a 70 year old arthritic man after the session, look good and the price is fair and what I consider to be one of the best.
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value

Great Grips
Date: February 24, 2008
These grips have a very tacky feel. I had an opportunity to hit some balls outside recently (tough in Michigan in Februrary). Even in 40 degree weather ( without gloves ), I had no trouble controlling the club. I was a diehard Winn grip man for a long time. The Winns just would wear out too fast ( especially at the top hand thumb). The Tour Velvet give me as good of an all-weather feel with much better durability.

Excellent grip!
Date: May 9, 2007
I've been using the Tour Velvet for a couple of years now and love them. I was just using the standard size and adding many layers of build-up tape for my larger than average hands. I then discovered the midsized, and now I only have to add a couple of extra layers of tape to fit me.
These grips are very tacky which INCREASES your confidence level. They have a nice balance between softness and feel. They are also priced significantly cheaper than the over-hyped Winn grips you see everywhere. I see the pro's play with Golf Pride grips all the time. Tiger plays with the cord version of the tour velvet. If you want a great grip that doesn't cost a lot, you can't go wrong with these!

Why use just any grip
Date: September 25, 2006
The grip is extremely tacky, which helps reduce confidence during the golf swing. One tendency that golfers have is to tighten the grip during the swing. These grips will help ensure that you maintain a solid grip on the club.
I have used these grips with and without gloves, and love the feel that the grip has both ways. The grip is somewhat soft, but firm enough to give excellent feedback. It is also very easy to use when wet, which has been a problem with some of the wraps I have used in the past (especially as they age).
