Playing to a 6.3 hdcp index, and mostly playing client golf, on away courses, requires that have grips that I can depend on in all kinds of weather. That's why I use the Lamkin Perma Wrap Classic. I have always prefered a leather or a smooth rubber grip in the past, but obviously I've had my share of rainy days when those leather and rubber grips left me in some pretty slippery situations. Enter the Lamkin Perma Wrap Classic Midsize. For some reason, (obviously the material) the rubber that makes up these fantastic grips, allows me to feel like I am using a premium leather grip, but these never get slippery. Certainly they need to be wiped off between shots when playing in the rain, but they seem to become more tacky after you wipe them off with a towel. The feel of a good leather glove softly gripping these beauties is great. Plus, even though I believe in replacing them each year, I believe they wouldn't wear out for two or three years of 50+rounds per year. Give them a try. They are available in various hand sizes. You won't be disappointed.
