Good Shaft But

I was fitted with this shaft (Reg Flex) when my 5 iron speed was 75 MPH.
That was 2 years ago when I just started playing again. With 6 days a week of stretching and exercising tons of range practice and golf lessons, now my 5 iron speed is 90MPH.
My 7 through wedge shots are all super high balloons.I have to really tone down my swing with my irons as compared with my Hybrid or Woods which have stiff shafts in them.
I am going to re-shaft with the True Temper Dynamic Gold SL Stiff (106Grams) which has a low launch profile.
I have a 1 iron in this shaft and I hit it great with no ballooning so I may need a mixed set of shafts(ie. High Launch 3,4,5 and low launch 6-Wedge)

Great shaft!

I used these on my 675X wedges and am totally impressed with their performance. I have used Rifle's for many years but am in the process of reshafting the rest of my iron set with Dynalite Gold SL's.

Correct iron shaft for me

The shaft is great and weight is great. The DG and DG SL I have tried and used for many years . My arms started fighting the High bend point and stiff tip. This shaft gives great feel without the arm problem. Low Bend point and soft tip it works and will keep me using steel much longer. I tried Graphite no feel at all. Good luck but I would try them if your shafts are fighting you.

TT Dynalite Gold SL Iron Shaft

I put these shafts on a set of 600xc's and 675xc's irons as a replacement for the Snake Eyes XL90 shaft that has been discontinued. They perform just great. The only difference is cosmetic - the steps are visible on the shaft vs. the fairly stepless look of the XL90.
