Tennis shoe - Barricade II - great shoe

Been wearing Barricade II for some years now, so when GolfSmith had a sale it was a no brainer. Purchased on the website. A manufacturing defect in the pair that was shipped meant that I needed to go to the local GS store. They had another pair shipped in, so a second trip to the GS store, but I now have the shoes and am satisfied.

Especially for Problem Feet, it is the Best!

After suffering Plantar Faciitis in both feet a few years ago, I learned that the Adidas Barricade provided the best arch support to help prevent it.
It is true! Bought the shoe and have never had the problem again. Recommended it to a number of plantar faciitis suffering friends and it worked for them too!
But, one friend switched to a different shoe and suffered plantar again. Poor devil! He's back in the Barricade II.
I sure hope they will keep making this shoe because the other Barricades do not provide the same support for me.

When it comes to serious tennis, I'm an Adidas junkie. I've tried all the Barricades... 1 thru 5, but the II is the best...at least in my opinion ...light but supportive. I have several pairs I rotate currently.

Pros: Quality, Features, hugs your feet, longer you wear it the more comfortable it gets, great cushioning
Cons: pricy, adidas used to give 6 months warranty on tear

These were my first pair of tennis shoes. I bought them on the sagacious advice of a friend. Ever since I've bought and used four more. These Barricades are really stylish, very comfortable, reasonably durable. I didn't like the next generation ones, however, they were stiff and didn't look half as good.
