A GREAT ACCESSORY FOR THE SPEED CART. IT'S GREAT TO BE ABLE TO TAKE A SEAT EVERY SO OFTEN TO REST YOUR FEET. IN MY CASE, THE BRACKET THAT ATTACHES TO THE FRAME TOOK A LITTLE TWEAKING TO GET IT TO FIT. I WISH I WOULD HAVE PURCHASED THE SEAT A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO WHEN I BOUGHT THE SPEED CART.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Value

good for a short rest

The top of the seat is a little small but I don't think it was ment for sitting for a long time. It was nice to have on those long rounds. It fits on the cart nicely and folds flat when not in use. The one thing about the chair is the top is small so you have to be careful when sitting down or you could miss the seat but overall it is nice to have

Good Accessory
Date: March 8, 2008
The seat for the Sun Mountain Speed Cart is a good accessory and quite useful at times. The seat comes with a bracket to be installed on the Speed Cart V1. It can also be used on the Speed Cart V2 and the Speed E Cart by using the existing bracket. The seat is the same (per Sun Mountain). The seat is useful during slow play, otherwise you won't need it.

Good idea, but
Date: November 24, 2007
The seat is a little small and depending on how much "stuff" is on the cart, balancing on the seat is can be tricky. I fell over the first time I tried to sit in it. Sit facing forward! The seat height is less than 2 feet off the ground. I am not a klutz as I play tennis in 3 leagues and my BMI is 23. Having said that, the seat is a good idea and when there is slow play, it is great. Just be careful. My husband said that it is a little difficult to attach.

This is a good buy

I bought this item for my kid who is a junior golfer. As golf tournaments go, they at times have to really wait for the greens to clear and this seat really helps save the legs. I would recommend it.

A welcomed addition to my speed cart
Date: September 11, 2007
I love my Sun Mountain Speed Cart, now I love it even more. The seat is well built and engineered and adds only ounces to the cart. Installation is a simple 5 minute procedure. Remove the axle nut and wheel from the left hand side and 2 screws. Slip the bracket into place and replace the screws with longer versions which are provided. Reinstall the wheel and axle nut. Slide the seat post into the bracket and your finished. Couldn't be any easier. Now I have a place to sit whenever I want to take a break or wait out the slow play in front of me. Gotta love! Note: The seat is somewhat small in diameter at 7 1/2 inches. That's the only reason I did not rate it at 5 stars.
