HEAD Airflow 3

Head Airflow 3: The first time players pick up the racquet, they can feel the new shape of lightness and power. Head's Airflow racquets are perfectly balanced and have a unique ergonomic grip specifically fitted to a woman's hand, giving extra comfort and control. The Airflow 3 offers a perfect blend of power and control. Grip: Ergonomic Grip thinner at the top and thicker at the bottom to best fit the anatomical structure of a woman's hand, reducing twist and torque for more comfort and less strain on the arm. The result is superior handling and enhanced ball control, especially for the two-handed backhand. A racquet for Women, but A Guy likes it too.

I tried out the Airflow #3 after my wife bought one. After a few games I sold my Head prestige flexpoint and switched to the Airflow. It is light but has surprising power for solid serving and baseline shots with lots of topspin. Because of its light weight it's excellent for playing at the net. It has improved my ability to return high bouncing balls. The racquet is very easy on the arm through a total lack of vibration, you get a sense of playing close to the ball. I use a highbrid stringing, a stiff string for the mains and a softer one for the crosses. My fellow players notice the improvement in the consistency of my shots and ask questions about the racquet.
