Best Ball ever made

You may find a longer ball, (but not many), and you may find a ball with more spin and greenside control,( I doubt it), but it won't be the same ball. This ball is the total package and no one other ball is even near it's equal.

ball flight WAY TOO high
Date: March 4, 2009
although I really like the control of this ball, I sometimes get too much spin and end up short of the hole. I also balloon this, which I really didn't enjoy in most cases because it would sometimes cut back on my distance by 20 yards.

Best There Is.
Date: January 25, 2009
Pro V1s are the best golf balls on the market. I've played a lot of different balls over the years. The Titliest Pro V1s are the truest, longest and softest around the green. You can have the Callaway HX Tour xi. I'll keep my Pro V1s.

One of the Most Well-Rounded Balls in Golf
Date: March 23, 2008
The Titleist ProV1 is a sweet ball, providing decent distance and excellent feel around the green. These balls are for anyone; from the 36 handicapper to the Tour Pro. The only reason why I gave them four stars is because $46 for a 2007 edition dozen is a bit expensive. Nike (the best brand in golf), Taylormade, and EVEN Callaway (the most expensive brand in golf), all price their "Tour Level" 2008 balls at around $40 (give or take a buck). Though the price is not too big of a difference, the Pro V1's superiority over other brands' (Nike, Taylormade, Callaway) tour balls is becoming non existant because other brands are developing balls that are as good, if not better than the Pro V1. Nevertheless, the Titleist ProV1 offers everything one could want in a package (except great distance) and are an excellent buy.

Bite! Bite! Bite!
Date: March 12, 2008
When they mean stop and drop they mean stop and drop. These balls stop on a dime! They have unparrelel feel. Chip with these is living in golf heaven. They don't give you as much distance as other balls but as they say: Drive for show.. putt for dough! Its a little pricy but worth it!

WOW--Amazing!!
Date: March 12, 2008
Everything about this ball is great... It is a little pricey for some but it is worth the price... as long as you dont slice your ball every hole then def use the V1. .. The first time use this ball i actually found it in the woods at my local course... I was amazed that a ball I found in the woods hit so well... haha... next day went and bought a couple dozen... Been playing with those 24 for the last 6 months

The best ball I have ever used
Date: December 14, 2007
I agree with everyone else who says that this is possiblly the best line of golf balls ever made, it is without a doubt the Bentley of golf balls, but holy cow!!!! They cost $46 a dozen, if I had money to spare I would play this ball but since my teaching salary does leave money to spare, I think I'll continue to play a decent golf ball that my wife won't kick me out of the house for buying.

BEST GOLF BALL EVER
Date: November 28, 2007
In the beginning of the year I started caddying and was finding a lot of Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x's and really had never thought anything of them before, mostly because of the price. I am a decent golfer so I brought them out on the course and compared them to a couple other relatively nice golf balls and the difference was clear. Longer off the tee, easy to control the distance, very predictable ball flight, and spin in any form was easy and controlable. I fell in love and now whenever I am caddying I keep my eyes open and I am buying them to!! So I would highly recomend them to any golfer willing to add something great to there game! YOU CAN NEVER EVER GO WRONG WITH TITLEIST!!

Simply The Best
Date: August 31, 2007
I still love the pro v1 it seems to get better every year. Even now with it being seamless. I also love the new A.I.M feature for lining up putts it really helps you read greens, so the only thing you really have to worry about is the speed of your putts. I still love the fact that it is soft with drop and stop greenside control without sacrificing the long distance off the tee. The only negative is the increasing price tag after every new model. Definetely #1 in my book.
