Snake Eyes Tour Performance 2

Snake Eyes Tour Performance 2 Golf Ball: Energy transfers momentum deeper into each layer of the Snake Eyes Tour Performance 2 Golf Ball as the swing speed increases. This means more feel on short game "touch" shots. The high energy of a tee shot penetrates to the core for unbelievable distance.

I was amazed at how well and straight these golf balls flew. Why pay top dollar for a name brand product when these will do just as good, it not better.

I like this ball as good or better than any ball that I've ever used. I feel that the ball goes a long way off the driver and feels good also. Well worth buying.

Outstanding golf balls
Date: July 11, 2009
I recently bought a new set of Taylor-made irons, but to get the 12 month no interest I needed to add something to get to the required amount. I ordered a dozen SnakeEyes 3-piece golf balls. These are longer than the balls I had been playing with and also play very well in my short game as well as putting. The price was fantastic and I will be ordering more in the future.

I got good distance from the balls but the durability is not good for me. If you spin the ball the cover scuffs.
If you do not spin the ball then it is a very good ball for the money.

The ball performed well, felt soft on the green, and looks cool with the snake-eyes logo.

I'm hoping my experience was weather related. I played this ball in 50* temps and noticed a distinct loss of distance after 4 holes. I replaced it with a Max Fli and gained 20 yds on my drives and quit coming up short on my approach shots. I'll try it again when it warms up.

Snake Eyes Tour Performance Golf Balls
Date: December 20, 2008
This "Snake Eyes Tour Performance" ball is what every golfer should expect from a ball. It performs exceptionally well from tee to green & on into the hole. This ball ranks right up there with the best. Hopefully Golfsmith will keep these in there lineup.

Too long
Date: December 9, 2008
These things never come down. I hit the ball long (180 yd 7 iron), but these things are rediculous.
I flew the green on a par three from 185 with a 7 iron! Give me a break. We're talking like 210 yards.
No thanks. I gave them too my father-in-law whose always looking for extra yards.
Too hot for me.
Pros: Good Value
Cons: Difficult to Use, too long with short irons

This ball goes as far as prov-1x feels almost as good around the greens, not quite as durable but stands up and is less than 1/2 the price.Your prov 1x hitters will take a second look when your ball is as far maybe farther when they see the Snake Eyes ,It's worth the reaction.Buy the ball!

1 club longer. I hit 8 iron from 150 yards with ProV1. I hit 9 iron from 150 yards with this ball. Great distance, feel, spin combination. I am able to stop on a dime with irons and check up chips. Love the product.

Better Than NXT Tour
Date: March 29, 2008
I normally play the NXT tour golf ball. I bought a dozen of the Snake Eyes TP2 to compare them to name brand balls. I played 18 holes with the same ball and the ball perfomed like a champ. Drives were long and straight.Long irons were very crisp and ball flight was very predictable. Bunker shots checked up and putting had positive feedback off the putter. .Now I am not a scratch golfer or even shoot in the 70's, but I would recommend these golf balls to any mid to intermediate golfer.

Good ball for the price
Date: February 9, 2008
Ball performs just as well as the original Tour Performance. Good distance, decent play around the green. Needs better feel around the green on chips and pitches. Comparable to Bridgestone E5 and E6.

Better than the last model!
Date: February 3, 2008
This ball is quite long and feels good off the irons. Not buttery soft or rock hard.
I did not see a loss in distance compared to the Pro V1 with the driver. Irons were actually longer than with the Pro V1. However, around the greens Pro V1 and the like are still king.
This ball left me wantimg more "junk" on my chips and pitches. I expected the ball drop check and stop like the Pro V1 and ended up past the hole all day. As I adjusted to the reduced spin it was okay. Full shots responded well though into the greens.
Pretty resilient, played one ball for 18 holes and did not see any degredation in ball flight, or playing characteristics. Nailed it flush with a seven iron and peeled some cover off where the grooves hit, but that happens with better balls anyway. Ball was still playable.
I hope Golfsmith will post the specs for this ball for comparison.
Overall great ball, Tour level performance, mid level price.
More spin would come in at 5 stars, as is 4 stars.
