I bought these because other lowcut socks let the outers of my golf shoes rub the back of my ankle, they were too low and I didn't want to look like my grandfather wearing knee lenght black socks on the golf course. I tried these out and they let my feet breathe and protect my skin from any rubbing.

Thread content for the black sock is not as listed. Only white socks have high poly content.
