great all around ball

The Burner TP is one of the better balls I've tried in the mid price range. The feel is the best feature. Soft without feeling dead or hollow. Enough response for this level of balls. Great ball for those that don't want to pay $5 for a premium ball yet don't want to play cheap rock balls.

Good pirice, good flight, Great feel

Head to Head with a Titlelist NXT and DT Carry the TP Burner bent faded, lobbed and rolled with smooth touch. I love this ball! It just flies with minimal swing speed and the control is as simple as visualizing the shot. Get the 2 for deal, if you lose em you'll regret not having the backups.

Excellent ball
Date: September 6, 2009
I have recently tried these balls after reading a review from one of the major golf magazines. They are a great performing ball. I still like ProV1 a little better but when you don't want to spend $45 a doz but still want a ball you can work around a course, these won't let you down.

long off the tee
Date: August 31, 2009
I have used a number of golf balls to try to find the right one for my game. From titlelist to bridgestone, I have found this ball to be the best for your buck if you are a intermediate golfer. I have hit my longest drives off the tee with these ball and I MEAN LONG! Has pretty good feel around the green for those pitch shots I love to hit and it putts well. I like them alot better than the nxt tour and even the pro vi.

Good Ball, lots of spin
Date: August 1, 2009
Great Ball for the mid-handicapper, but they do tend to spin alot off of the driver (at least for me they did).
Very Long, very good feel overall though

Did I get a deffective box?
Date: July 17, 2009
I guess I'm the odd man out. I found this ball to be woefully short, lacked feel and came no where near the performance of the maxfli fire tour. I could get it to spin but that's about all this ball did well. The lack of distance was what shocked me the most. In the mid priced range the fire tour was king followed by NXT tour. The new Nike Vapor is my go to ball now and I'm not a big fan of Nike but they did a good job on this ball. It spins well, feels great, and distance wise it smokes most of the distance balls.

Probably the best ball under $30
Date: June 4, 2009
Really out performed any and all of my expectations. True performer, soft feel, great distance, and explosively reactive off wedges. Rolls true, really soft feel off putter. Im still learning how to play spin on the ball other than a hook or a slice but wow, i hit the ball flush from 6i-sw and i get the ball to flop and stop. I hit the ball naturally high. So i dont know really any difference with higth with this vs. the Pro V1 but ill tell you the feel off my Wilson Ci7s is great, along with my launcher comp driver. GREAT BALL GIVE IT A TRY WILL NOT! BE DISAPPOINTED!

Not Bad for the Money
Date: May 26, 2009
Decent Ball. I was hoping to find a ball that I liked that cost less than 40 dollars a dozen, and this wasn't it.
Decent ball but clearly doesn't have the spin or feel off the irons and around the green that single handicapper would like.
Distance was average but I was however impressed with the durability.

Date: December 5, 2008
I used to play only pro-v's then I starting playing the HEX tour. Due to a golf shop I was in not stocking either I bought a sleeve of these bad boys. This ball holds it's own with the others at only a fraction of the price. This is all I'll play now and I couldn't be happier give them a try and you will feel the same.

I bought a sleeve of these balls today are tested them out. I compared them with a Pro V1. This ball is softer & more durable than a Pro V1 and is halfthe price. This ball also has a better feel putting than a Pro V1.
Pro V1 fantics, do yourself a favor, save $20 per box & get this ball.
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value, Features, better than a pro v1

Good, solid ball
Date: July 1, 2008
This is a great performing ball offering low driver spin and high iron spin. It feels very soft off the putter and bites pretty well from off the green. I could not tell a difference between these and my Pro V1s.

I bought a dozen looking for a ball that i could hit a lot farther. I have never really had a ball that i use consistently, just whatever is in my bag. These balls have unbelievable distance and soft feel around the greens. For the price you pay, these balls are as good as many of the thirty dollar balls on the market and are a steal at only 25.

Taylor Burner TP Golf Balls
Date: April 15, 2008
I would recommend these balls highly for amateurs based on the combination of softness and distance. I am an 11 handicap and have used a softer ball based on my swing speed and wanted to try the Burners to see if I got any extra distance. I am pleased that after several rounds I have found they stop as well as a softer ball and yet I am getting a lot more top spin making them at least 10 yards longer than what I was previously using.

DISTANCE +++
Date: January 3, 2008
Looking for a new distance ball , here it is . Long off of the driver , and irons . The cover feels good in your hands , but your wedge will shred it if you have sharp grooves . The softer cover premium balls hold up better to full wedge shots . But if you are looking for a 29.00 price point ball then I think this is right up there with alot of balls . It is not better then the titleist nxt tour .

Re-packaged Tour Fire Ball
Date: January 2, 2008
I was sad to see they were not going to sell the Maxfli Tour Fire ball any longer until the sales rep for Taylormade informed me they were just re-packaging the Tour Fire as the TM Burner TP ball to expand the Burner product line. Same incredible value performance ball, different box. Highly recommend for soft feel, great distance, and decent durability. A good alternative to "Tour" level balls which are much more expensive.
