I hate to disagree with another golfer who obviously is well-informed. However, with all due respect, my experience with the Bag Boy Revolver Cart Bag has been quite good. As usual with a Bag Boy bag, the quality is quite good. I love the revolver and the large number of pockets on the bag. The locking mechanism for my clubs has worked perfectly for me so far.
I really like the handles on the front ot the bag -- they make it very easy to move the bag from my truck to the cart and back. Also, I like having 2 umbrella pockets (one for my umbrella and the other for my club's mister umbrella). The pockets for them are large and, yes, I like that they are pockets, not straps.
That's not to say it's perfect, assuming anything can be perfect. Although you have a large number of pockets, the ones on the sides are a little tight. However, the ones on the front are of a good size, and are well-designed and constructed. Another issue I've found is that when I have an umbrella in the pocket next to where the cart strap lock is located, the revolver has difficulty working. Maybe it's just me, but I've taken the umbrella out to test it, and the revolver works perfect then. Maybe it's best to just move the umbrella to the other side (put it on the right when the bag is on the left side of the cart, etc).
Despite it's few issues, the Revolver Bag is the best golf bag I've ever owned. If you like having a lot of places to store "stuff", want your clubs protected from banging around, want easy access to your clubs, and want a well-constructed bag, I would recommend this one to you.
