Callaway Tour i

Callaway Tour i Golf Ball Simply put, Callaway Golf engineers have re-invented tour golf ball performance. The Tour i Golf Ball provides the perfect balance of breakthrough distance and control. An innovative 4-piece Inertia Technology utilizes a tungsten-infused outer core to shift weight away from the center of the ball, reducing driver spin for premium distance and straighter shots. The softer core formulation provides unparalleled tour feel and the softer urethane cover generates more short-game spin for precision control and aggressive shot-making. A refined HEX Aerodynamics pattern further increases distance through reduced drag and better stability. Four pieces, two cores, one unbeatable ball.

Best I've ever played...
Date: October 6, 2009
Simply the best golf ball I've ever played. Soft - just right for spinning balls around the green. Distance - great length no loss here! Durability - one ball goes 18 holes with no measurable breakdown in quality. Putting - sweet, consistent roll every time.
No better ball in Golf right now.

Great Explosive Ball
Date: August 27, 2009
So I was using the ix, which I liked a lot, then started hitting these...i'm converted! They are the talk of the course amongst us golf freaks...
The ball is explosive off the driver. For some reason I get much more consistent dead straight bombs with the tour i than the ix, even though it should be the other way around I guess...
Callaway has hit the mark with this ball, I purchased 3 dozen and just love how all the clubs in the bag react with this ball...perfection. Broke 70 today for the 1st time today with the Callaway Tour i ball. Thanks Callaway!

Never Did That Before
Date: August 26, 2009
I got two sleeves of the TourI's from my Brother -In-Law for my B-day. I love Callaway Balls. I have been using the Warbirds and the CXB's and love them; especially the Warbirds (CXB's felt like hitting a rock). This was the first set of balls I got that had the new Hex technology.
First round out with the Tour i's I was shocked. I could never ever get backspin on a ball; but these Tour i's seem to want to spin no matter how you hit them. Distance and feel are phenominal. The have a soft feel and carry very well through the air.
I have always loved Callaway balls and the Tour I's not only did not disappoint they take Callaway to a whole new level.

Good Ball
Date: June 6, 2009
It's a solid ball with good performance all around.
It has almost the distance of my Pro V1 hits and rolls true on the greens. To me it feels like it has spin in between a Pro V1 and Pro V1x. Not quite as much as the Pro V1 although I would have thought it would have more since it has a tacky cover.
It doesn't have that explosive feeling off the face like the Pro V's but it still gets almost the distance for me.
It was a great value when they included the extra 6 balls with the purchase of a dozen and I bought a bunch. At that price the slight performance/feel advantage of the Pro V's was completely covered.

Fairly Good
Date: April 21, 2009
This, I thought was a fairly good ball, callaway's hex pattern is known for flying the ball straight in the wind which this ball is no exception. The spin capability is also good with this ball, but for the money I would honestly look elsewhere, I think that bridgestone and titleist offers a better ball for the money.

Tour I

This ball is pretty special. Straight off the driver. It has a more of a penetrating ball flight. Goes far.. Plus spins alot. I'm the type of player that loves spin off my wedge. This ball does it... Spins off my vokey spin mill and checks and rolls back alittle bit. Love that part about this ball. Cover is nice and the ball feels good. A++ of this ball. Very hard to tell the difference between this and the new PRO V1. I like them both. A++

Best Ball Out There
Date: April 2, 2009
I love the Tour i ball, it flies off the face of the driver, spins like a top off of my irons, and feels like butter when on the sweet spot. I really like it around the green and even better on the green. Great Feel, Amazing Spin, Decent Durability.

Best Wedge series ever
Date: February 18, 2009
I first bought the 56 degree wedge to try this series out, and after just a week i bought boh a 52 and a 60 degree, this is by far the best wedgeseries i have ever played with. it adds so much spin and control to the ball compared to for example the vokey design.

Great Ball
Date: August 21, 2008
Comes off of my irons with a very penatrating ball flight flight with a lot of spin. Excellent feel on short game. Cheaper and more durable than thre Pro V1. Long of the tee with plenty of roll.

Soft feel, great distance
Date: July 17, 2008
I played the HX Tour 56 last year and after trying these out I must say that the new Tour i ball is far superior in feel and in distance. If you have trouble with slicing or hooking then you should find a ball that spins less but if you are looking for feel then check them out. Ive had a few friends that are PRO V1 worshipers try it and they are considering switching due to improved trajectory. The only drawback is the covers dont hold up as well as the HX 56 on the irons when the grooves are fresh as mine are. Still, I will not be using the 56 anymore. Buy a sleeve and check it out for yourself. Callaway makes a great golf ball.
