best tennis shoes

Barricade V's are the best tennis shoes I've tried. Great snug fit, lots of support, outsoles last. Only complaint is the white plastic on the outside turns yellow over time. I've even seen store displays like this.

Really like this shoe

This is a great shoe. However, it does have a break-in period. My feet hurt after the first couple of times I played tennis in them. Now about 1 month later they are quite comfortable. I did take out the thin insole and replaced them with a sof-sol product. I have plantar fascitis and these shoes have just enough arch support to help with that. These shoes were $110 everywhere else but I found them at Golfsmith for $90 so I feel like I got a good deal.

great purchase

Upon her coach's advice, I bought a pair of women's Adidas Barricade for my daughter who plays on her high school tennis team. Throughout the summer she suffered with her feet being sore and frequent blisters wearing several other brands of shoes. These have been a blessing. She says that they have excellent support and are lightweight. She also said that they have excellent traction. She has not had one blister. The team plays on hard courts and they have held up well. It looks like we have finally found a solid shoe that will stand up to the rigors of practice and matches nearly every day of the week.
