Lasts for over 4 weeks, in the louisiana humidity, used about 22 times a month. Even after that you could keep it for use in other things, like gardening. The leather is truly soft, very strechy, and extra comfortable. After 4 weeks, the material DOES NOT shrink like the FJ weather sofs. Those love to shrink, these NEVER shrink
