Good Value

Longer then the Tour One but not quite as soft on approach, though held all the greens hit. Was playable after 2 rounds... For the price - 24 balls for $60 - an excellent value in a premium ball.

Nike One Tour D
Date: October 13, 2009
I have always been a fan of ProV1s, and more recently Taylormade TP Reds. I've experimented with a lot of balls (including Nike) and these are the two I've gone with for the last couple years. I found, and began playing with, a Nike One Tour D three rounds ago and have not been able to get rid of the thing. I now have to retire it because its beat. I play to a 7.3 hcp at a course with a slope rating of 148 and no room to miss. I can't remember the last time I had to retire a ball because it was too worn to play. I've had a problem with too much spin with the TP Reds and Blacks, less so with the ProV1s, and don't like the feel of the ProV1x. I really like the Nike One Tour D in all aspects of the game. Off the tee I get the distance I want, off the irons I get control and not too much spin, and I like the feel off the putter. Never liked Nike balls before but I'm going to pick up a couple dozen of these. Go Figure!

Solid 3-piece Premium Ball
Date: October 11, 2009
I had always been a big fan of the second-gen Nike Platinums but was always disappointed with the durability of the cover. After also being somewhat disappointed with the excessive spin and uninspiring distance from the ProV1 it was high time to go for the One Tour D, hoping for the Nike feel I liked from the Platinum in a 3-pc. construction without the "mushy" feel of the 3-pc. ProV1. Sure enough the One Tour D hits the sweet spot in almost every category: distance, feel, durability and overall spin. For someone who wants to reduce their spin on approach and off the tee, this is a perfect ball. The best surprise of all was its response off the putter. I have been putting really well with this ball, to the point where it has become my ball of choice simply for that reason alone.

Great golf ball
Date: October 11, 2009
This is a great ball. I got these for the 2 for $60 deal. They sit so well on the greens and I can hit the ball way farther than with the Callaway Tour i. Though I can get the same spin with both, this is a much better ball. I have played rounds with the same ball with minimal scuffing this is a great ball.

Good product, great buy.
Date: September 29, 2009
I bought some of the Tour Ds back in June and have played a few rounds with them. I have also spent a lot of time around the chipping and putting greens. I haven't tried too many of the other brands of premium balls, but of those that I have tried, this one seems to be the best all-round ball that I have used. I have noticed more distance, 5-10 yards with the irons, good durability and they don't feel like rocks when you hit them. I can get plenty of spin when I need it around the greens. Even off long irons I can stop it within a few feet. I would recommend the OneTour D to anyone looking for a geat all-round ball. At $60 for 2 dozen, it is a great buy as well.

Tour D a Hit With Me
Date: August 29, 2009
I've historically been around a 20 but I have finally gottent to where I can play more and dropped to a 17 in the last six weeks. Part of the reason without question is the Tour D. I'm not a long hitter, usually 200-220 off the tee but since I started using the D, I have gained 20-30 yards off the tee and easily 10 yards with my irons.
I have always been the type that would play with most any ball but had been playing Pro Vs a lot lately because I was given a couple boxes. There is no way I would play anything but the D now.
I've also been impressed with how they hold on the green. Virtually all of my solid approach shots have stopped with 2 feet of my ball mark at most, and most have been within inches.
I'm a believer. Been playing a long time and never seen a ball have such an impact or impression on my game.

Best Ball I've Ever Played
Date: August 3, 2009
12 Handicapper, driver speed ~120. I have been playing the Pro V1x and I have to say, these are much longer and straighter off the tee and hold the green nearly as well. I never knew how much difference a ball can make--among premium balls. My average drive (Tour Burner 10.5 X-Stiff) with the One Tour D is about 305 yards, compared with 265 out of the Titleist. On average I had been hitting 5-6 fairways with the Titleist (strong fade), and wow...9-10 with the Nike (dead straight). I am NOT a Nike guy when it comes to golf. I swore I would never play Nike equipment, but I will continue to play these balls exclusively. They do not spin off a short iron quite as much as the V1x. Example: 145 par 3 with a 9 iron-the V1x bit and spun back about 15 feet while the Nike bit and spun back about 10 feet. But when I am getting 35 yards more off the tee, I can be more aggressive with the One Tour D anyway. The Tour ix is close to the One Tour D, but still not quite as long. I put them in this order:
(1) Nike One Tour D 10/10
(2) Callaway Tour ix (8/10)(Sounds the best off driver, though)
(3) Titleist Pro V1x (6/10)(Soft thud off the driver)
Don't take my word for it--try them yourself.

Ive never been a fan of nike golf balls I play the prov1x and had no intension to try anything else. When they dropped the price to 60$ for 2 dozen I decided to try them and was very suprised . They flew great and also felt great off the putter.I tried a sleeve of the one tours and didnt care much for them.At this price I will be playing this ball for some time to come and maybe longer.

Feels Great
Date: June 11, 2009
I can't believe no one has reviewed this ball yet. The Tour D has great distance and yet feels soft. You really don't find soft balls that go far. I play this ball when I'm playing really long courses otherwise I've been using the Nike One Tour since it has a lot more spin than the tour D. Most amateurs who can't spin shots anyway should be using this ball.
Pros: Quality, soft feel
