Sorry Tiger, but I've never been a Nike fan ... Callaway and Bridgestone in my bag.
--until-- my wife was given a sleeve of the Nike One Vapor in a golf promotion for my birthday.
Vapor is a great name for them, because these bad boys are smokin' Hot .. soft and fast off the club face and they fly like John Travolta's G5, except a lot less $$.
Ok Tiger, now I'm a huge Nike fan....

Quality meets good price
Date: October 20, 2009
Tried it out because My coach said he liked them and gave me 3 balls. Immediately I noticed soft feel but still good distance on it. Then I was 40 yards out on a par five and I got hooked. I hit a decent shot thought it would be a little long then all of a sudden it stopped and came back! I really dont generate to much spin usually but with this I dont need to!

good ball
Date: September 11, 2009
Played the Vapor for the first time and was impressed. Got them free at golfsmith just for swinging a driver a few times. Very durable, played 44 holes on one ball, and the only mark was a tree bruise. On hole 45 found the only problem, they don't float. Good feel and distance, all around a good ball. Got some one tours, I'll compare to those later.

Hey, not so bad, for a hacker

These balls worked really well for me, got to try some out today. They kind of midigate the rights (nothing like a 2 peicer for that) and they stop dead when you need them too.
Pros- True distance, works well for a slower swing, very very nice off of the wedges (stopped a gap wedge dead in its tracks 85 yards out....)
Cons- Expensive, my wedges can take hunks out of them at times, looses its looks after a few holes

Im always looking for a golf ball that works for me, recently purchased a dosen of these and callaway diablos. cant make up my mind which is the better ball. these two balls are similar in lenght and workability. The vapor is a durable ball it is just a little more expensive than the diablo, but looks like i will play both for a while.

NXT Tour Killer
Date: July 10, 2009
Yes, that's what I said. I probably tried every mid priced ball out there and so far this is as good as it gets. My golf bag is full of various balls so I can see which performs the best. In the mid price range I always come back to the NXT Tour. I really liked the Maxfli Fire Tour and thought the Burner LDP tour was the same ball in a different box. It's not, woefully short and dead feeling. This new Nike was longer than the NXT Tour, checked a little better and felt softer off all my clubs. Flight was great (didn't balloon). It doesn't get 5 stars because of price. One more point: I don't play any other Nike equipment nor do I own anything Nike.

Not as bad as reported
Date: June 4, 2009
First off, let me say this ball simply just flies off the tee. That being said, it is the kind of the ball you can shape, so I agree that if you have a bad slice or hook it might get worse. This means however that your game needs more practice, and it would be wise to play a cheaper straighter ball. I've only been playing on courses less than two months but I am diligent and attentive with my game, and with the Vapor hit my first 300yds+ ball in the middle of the fairway. I love it on the greens and flies high. It does not check too much for me, but that is probably my lack of command over the shot.
Pros: Quality, Durability, flies high, good on greens

I used to play Nike One Blacks. I feel these play like Ignites but a little softer. I did get a little more distance (5 to 10 yards). Wish they were priced like the Ignites.

Great Ball

Great ball for the money. Long and decent iron spin. I am not sure what the guy that gave it a two star was thinking. I am guessing some time on the range and pinnacle's would be a better fit for him.

too much spin
Date: April 6, 2009
This ball is pretty durable, but if you have any type of slice or hook normally this will make it worse. I played this ball over the weekend for the first time and i was playing some Titelist DT Roll's at the same time. I could hit the DT Roll straight but every time I hit this ball it would slice or hook. I do not normally slice or hook so I know it was the ball.
Pros: Quality, Durability
Cons: Difficult to Use, slices easily

They Play Great

Switched up from Titleist balls and I'm really happy that I did. Playing on somewhat of a budget, I find the Vapors perfect for my game, yet they play just like the One Platinum for my style. They work really well.

Great new ball from Nike!!!
Date: February 3, 2009
Great ball. Long off the tee. I had a problem with the old nike one's spinning too much. This ball just hits and stops dead in it's tracks. Soft feel, but a lot less spin than the nike one black. If spin's a problem for you, but you love the feel of Nike one black you'll love the Vapor!
