good ball
Date: November 5, 2009
i used these balls throughout this year and i really liked how soft they felt off the driver and the great distance. The spin created by wedges was also great. My only issue with these balls is that every time i hit a full or three quarter wedge shot the cover ripped. So needless to say each ball lasted for a very short amount of time

This ball just does it all. It is long of the tee, has spin for around the greens. The LDP dimple arrangement makes this a great wind ball. It does scuff if you have some of the premium wedges on the market (Snake Eyes 685 BX included) but this is the wedge not the ball. Stock up!!

Never Happier
Date: September 28, 2009
I was a prov1x player for quite some time and had a hard time giving that ball up, but one of my friends tossed me this ball one day and told me i wouldn't regret it. I had the ball flight and spin control of my dreams. The "pretty" drives down the fairway and pin point accuracy with my irons made me the winner that day. And the fact that I picked up 2 dozen balls for the price of 1 dozen of the proV1 line made this switch even easier. I figure, if Sergio and many other TM TOUR players can change from their proV1's to the TM TP line, I could too!

This ball is HOT off the driver and spins great on the greens! I was playing the Callaway I-Tour and the Taylormade Red gives me more of what I am looking for - distance, control and spin!

Very Impressive Ball
Date: September 8, 2009
I recently bought a couple dozen of these golf balls because of the low price offered and i was very impressed. I am a scratch golfer and I have played the ProV1x all of my life and i was a little nervous to try a new ball, but recently i have switched my equipment from titleist to taylormade so i decided to give this ball a try. It feels very soft on all shots, yet maintains the low spin that i prefer from the ProV1x. The cover on this ball also is more durable. After one wedge shot my ball would be shot, now there is just a small mark. At a fraction of the price this ball is definitely my new choice.

Excellent ball, excellent quality cover
Date: September 7, 2009
The cover of the new Taylormade Tp red is outstanding. The ball is very long, and spins great. I feel that I get ALOT of feel out of my wedges and putter with the Tp red (which explains why I can chip within 5 feet from almost anywhere within 25 yards without breaking a sweat). The ball is one that is a combination of performance and forgiveness. It is more so a distance and control oriented ball then a pure spin ball, but it spins well on the shots that matter. Get these while you can, before Taylormade thinks again.

Good Ball
Date: September 5, 2009
I got these and the TP Black at Golfsmith about 2 weeks ago to try them out while they were cheap like they are. I liked the Red OK, lost distance compared to the black, and gained a little spin, but not enough to make me like these more than the black. They are good balls and pretty durable for a urethane cover, but I'm just not at the stage of the game that I can throw one past the hole and feel confident I can suck it back. Good overall ball though. Probably best in the hands of better spin players with lower hdcp than me (14)

Suprising distance control and feel!
Date: August 27, 2009
I purchased this ball to verify the claims of great distance off the tee without loosing feel around the greens. It performed magnificently. Distance increased with less dispursement on minor offset hits on drives and irons to the green. The control of distance on short irons, chips and putts is outstanding. I hope Taylormade does not discontinue this ball for a while.
I suggest golfers of all skill levels to try this ball you won't be disappointed! You can't go wrong on the price for this type of ball either.
Great job Taylormade! Keep up with the performance balls like this one.
Good luck and continue success on the golf course. You can't beat a great round of golf especially with the help of a great ball to keep your game on track.

Best Ball out there!!
Date: August 14, 2009
This ball is great. For lower swing speeds, this ball gives them more distance and more approach spin. For high swing speeds (like me..) you get a lot more distance ( against Pro V1, Tour i, & Z-Star) and lowers your approach spin just a touch ( Can only tell on longer irons..). This ball has the best feel of any ball on the market. Feels buttery soft off the putter. Chips well too. You can hit chip & runs without having it stop before its preferred destination. Taylormade has produced a perfect ball here. 5*****

Outstanding Ball
Date: August 11, 2009
I found one of these balls (TP Red) on a course and hit it one time and loved the feel, trajectory, and additional distance I perceived from hitting it once.
I have since bought some and played one round with them. I am having a little trouble clubing correctly with the extra disance but it is a problem I like.
I don't believe I can ever go back to V1x unless they stop making this ball..

Soft Feel and Great Distance
Date: July 20, 2009
I love this ball. The Taylormade TP Red goes so much farther than the Pro V1 which I was playing. Also it seemed to not spin back as much as the Pro V1 which is what I needed. I'm 15 and have a 85 MPH swing speed and i still get plenty of spin.

A lot of people don't get the taylormade balls a chance, but let me tell you for the price of 2 for $55 they are the best deal out there. Normally with the tour balls, you get great spin, but lose some distance, this ball brings the both together. I think if you give this ball a try you will not be disappointed for I have shot two of my better rounds of the year thus far being a 75 and a 73.
