Golfsmith .370 Black Iron Ferrule Dozen: Ferrules are required on metal clubheads with flat-topped (non-radiused) hosels to provide the taper and enhance the appearence of the club. Good economical iron ferrule

This is a good and economical iron ferrule. The inside diameter tends to be a little snug for 0.370" shafts, but all you have to do is take a round file and file evenly around the inside diameter to make it fit. I've assembled many irons with these ferrules and they are just fine.

ID not as described

Ordered these as per catalog description to match shafts to ID/OD of shafts to ferrule fit. Shows .370 ID but measured .364 ID. Could not even get it started over graphite shaft. I will have to try and order another ferrule hoping it is the correct dimension as made. I suspect it is the quality of manufacturing that is the problem. Bring back American made products.

The.370s & the .335s are great for the money, but they fit a little snug and have
to be reamed out, even after you sand the
shafts down enough to get the rough finish
