The best shaft for a hard swing
Date: October 21, 2006
I reshafted an Orlimar Trimetal 315 cc 9.5 with this shaft. It is absolutely unbelievable. An honest 260+ is no problem, whereas the stiff shaft it came with was too whippy and tended to hit high right. If you have a decently high swing speed, this shaft comes around at the perfect time. It has a nice high kickpoint and low torque. And it looks good. It gives good feedback as well. I am going to try it on other heads and get back to you. I give it a 5+

Super Stable and Nasty Long

I went in wanting to try out the V2 but turns out that my launch angle for my current driver was really really high. So I went with this one since it was a low traj and the price was surprisingly nice as well (my driver is a 10.5 deg). I have been playing this shaft for a while now (to make sure I get out of the "honeymoon phase") and this shaft still performs over and over again. I have always had issues with my driving but this shaft really"connects me" to the clubhead and I feel were the club is every time. I would give this a try for those who launch a bit high (even if you don't balloon it) and see how well it works for you. I will be getting the V2 HL for my 3 and the V2 for my 9.5 driver as well...
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value, stable
Cons: if you don't like yellow...it's all yellow

Purchased the x flex for a mamba 2 five wood.
I have to say I am really impressed by this shaft. Just everything about it is top notch.
It provides excellent distance and control. I also found that the paint job and quality is just phenominal. I never cared for that much but this shaft seems durable and a top performer.
Dollar for dollar I am not sure there is a better club out there for me. I just orded a 2nd for a driver that I am going to put together. You won't be disappointed with this shaft...true performer!

I like the feel of this shaft, stiff but not too stiff. It does seem to produce a lower trajectory that I expected. I've been getting excellent results.

Wish I tried this shaft sooner

I put together a 3W a few months back with a Fujikura Vista 80...was not a good combo. Recently I paired this shaft up with a 15* 653 hybrid and love it. If only a few months ago I had gone this rout with my 3W. I have a hard swing, driver averages about 115-118, and this shaft doesn't feel sloppy at all.
Very solid. It will be my top choice in the future along with the Graffalloy ProLite 35

Solid Go to shaft
Date: June 29, 2007
I have built several clubs with the latest and the greatest shafts. However, for the price and the performance I keep going back to this shaft. The 75 and 85 (which you could special order at one time) are also great for the stronger players. This 65 went in the new square head killer bee and the new owner kept me on the phone for 30 minutes after his first round telling me how well the club performed.

Slicer no more.

Slicer until now.
This is my second experience with the Proforce 65 (R flex). I first put it in my Taylor Made R5 Draw and started really hooking everything. So I took it out and just had it sitting in one of my old golf bags. I bought a Cleveland Ti 460 with prolaunch 65 blue shaft and really struggled to keep the ball down. The ball either ballooned or sliced badly. So on a whim I put this Proforce shaft in the driver and really noticed a big difference. This shaft is easy to hit. I hit five straight high sweet looking draws on my first six swings. My one non-draw went dead straight. I am a border line stiff/regular swing speed. I can hit a stiff shaft but I have to give it all little more gusto to get it around. Regular is perfect for me and my swing (85-90mph). And what a great price. I am about to get one for my 3 wood.

UST Proforce 65 Wood shaft
Date: May 31, 2006
I had been using this shaft in my old Taylormade 380 and when I decided to buy a new driver a couple of years ago I bought a Big Bertha Titanium. I replaced the Calloway stock shaft with the Proforce. What a difference! Last year when I was given a Cleveland 400 as a gift I replaced the Cleveland stock shaft with another Proforce 65. My swing speed is between 98 and 102 mph. I use the stiff shaft. When UST says the shaft is set up to give you a penetrating ball flight you better believe it. I normally hit a very high ball, but using an 8 degree driver with this shaft has allowed me to obtain control and distance in even the windiest conditions. The stiff tip, low torque and high kick point help to keep the ball reasonably low without giving up distance, and the feel remains superb. If you do not like the "mushy" feel of the stock shafts provided by almost all of the manufacturers, try this shaft. You can't go wrong for the money at less than $30.

A Great Shaft
Date: March 15, 2006
I bought this shaft last week and had it installed in my Sasquach head. I also had Golfsmith PURE the shaft. The result was simply amazing. I have more distance (10-20 yards), straighter trajectory (less hook/slice), then I have ever had. I will definitly have my future shafts PUREed. This is a great shaft at a great price.......

I have been swinging a Callaway Big Bertha with a ProForce 65 R flex shaft for two years.Consistently GREAT results. My Callaway 3, 5, 7 woods were fitted with senior flex R shafts and I was all over the course with them. Just had them re-shafted with ProForce 65 R flex and am enjoying dramatically better results. Straight shots with good trajectory and distance.

Improved Accuracy
Date: January 6, 2006
I replaced the stock shaft on the old Titleist 975 that I play with this shaft. I've seen a slight gain in distance (about 10 yards), but what has really improved is my driving accuracy. The driver has gone from being my least accurate club to perhaps the most accurate since I've started using the Proforce 65.
