Snake Eyes AWT 85 Ascending Weight Iron Shaft

Snake Eyes AWS 85 Ascending Weight Iron Shaft: Since the early 1900's swing weighting was developed for golf shafts as a method of creating a matched set. Golfsmith's R & D team, along with UST engineers, designed the Snake Eyes AWS 85 Ascending weight iron shafts to truly make all clubs within a set swing with the same feel. Ascending weight iron shafts are designed to identify and fit the related force to the swing of each club.

Excellent switch
Date: September 22, 2009
I have switched my iron shafts to graphite/composite shafts. It all started when I lost the eight iron from my original set which were by the way OS Project. So I ordered a S.E.HT Viper eight and nine iron head along with SE ProForce shafts and grips. I was so impressed that I ordered the 5,6,7 and PW Along with shafts. I'm impressed, so now I have ordered the 4 and SW with shafts and grips. The shafts are excellent, good feel and promote confidence in hitting the ball.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

Great Shaft

These shafts were an excellent purchase. The shaft has the same torque as any steel shaft, but with only 2/3rds the weight. They feel great when swinging and even better when striking the ball. Not to mention they look beautiful when matched with a snake eyes head.
Pros: Features, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

Smooth!

I am currently enjoying prolaunch S flex in my 600B Snake Eye irons thru 4. I ordered a 3 iron head to complete the set and decided to try the new AWT shaft.
Wow! The three iron performed as well if not even better. 170 yards of pure carry over a large pond with a slight draw and landing 4 feet from the pin--two days in a row!
Am thinking, maybe next year a new set with AWT. The feel of steel without the shock!
Pros: Quality, low torque, good weight, awsome appearance
