This shaft gives a lively feel. It coupled with the Snake Eyes Python XL driver head has added accuracy and length to my drives, which as a senior is greatly appreciated.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

At age 66, this is the best regular flex shaft I've found for my TaylorMade Rescue Clubs.

A great shaft to gain distance and more roll!
Date: November 13, 2006
I hit my driver from tee carrying 180 - 190 yards but only got about 10 to 15 yards roll. I love my Cleveland HiBore driver and don't want replace it for finding more roll with other drivers because it is the most consistent, workable, and stable driver I've had. The best option for getting more distance from roll is to find a shaft that would give me more roll without sacrificing my current carry.
I found it in the Aldila NV 55 A Flex. Now I carry 190 to 200 yards from the tee but have gotten 15 - 25 more yards roll on average. I am playing from 6000 - 6200 yards tee and I now became capable of hitting greens in regulation on every hole except 430 yards uphill long par 4's.
If you have a clubhead speed of 75 - 85 (carry 170 to 190 yards from the tee) and want to gain more distance from the tee, this may be the shaft for you. Try it and see for yourself!
Good golfing...hit it long and keep it in the short grass!

What a difference the gray makes
Date: October 19, 2005
I had quit playing golf for a number of years and when I decided to dust off the clubs and hit a few balls I found that my skills, like my body, had grown old. The speed of my swing was invertly proportional to the graying of my hair. A friend suggested I try a new driver. He had one that he used, a 650CC SnakeEyes with a 13 degree loft and equipped with an Aldila NV55 shaft. It felt good and I was hitting the ball a ton with it so I had him order the parts and make me one. I am well satisfied with the driver. The shaft is a little longer than my old driver and seems to have just a wee bit more flex in it. At first my hands were too far ahead of the club head but after adjustments I was able to get the club head on the ball when I wanted to. GREAT CLUB AND SHAFT!
