soft grip

The Avon Chamois provides softness and good traction. If you have hand/joint problems, these grips will benefit you. They feel great and lack any firmness or hardness. A surprising good grip.

overall great grips

I've tried just about every grip that comes down the pike, and I always come back to these. Price, feel, durability, these grips deliver. They are a tiny bit bigger than standard which suits me fine. You never see Avon advertised much, but they really offer great grips for less money.

GREAT grip
Date: May 25, 2009
I love the way this grip feels. It is soft and tacky. I'm from central TX and it's pretty dang dry here and this grip stays good and sticky all summer. This is the 3rd time I've regripped my driver with this thing. I love it. I'll never put another grip on my driver. The only thing I don't like is that since it is soft it doesn't last as long as some of the harder grips, but at this price you really can't complain. I still give it 5 stars.

Sweet feel, nice grip
Date: December 24, 2008
This is a fabulous grip. I have used this grip for 20 years or more. Everyone who hits my clubs right away asks me what kind of grip I am using, they love the feel. I find other grips are too demanding on my hands creating blisters or sore spots. I play forged blades and bad hits don't feel so harsh, solid shots feel like butter. The durability of this grip is outstanding. I play 4 times a week and re-grip twice per season. Cleaning with soap and water leaves a "new" grip for many rounds. I think for the money you should try them once. You will know after 10 balls if they are for you or not, I am betting you will love them and the price.

Great Grip For Sore Hands
Date: May 27, 2008
I have arthritis in my hands and they are painful after a round. I would switch to a mid-size grip but my hands are small and I need the standard size grips to control the clubs. The Avon Chamois solved my problem. Its a bit bigger than most standard grips and its softness keeps my hands from hurting. No more pain. Plus, the grips are tacky, but not too tacky, and firm; they help you control the club. A great, underrated grip.
