Couldn't be more pleased. At least 20 yards longer than previous Ti driver. Easy to hit well and first time out with it I cut the number of fairways missed by about half. Beside that,it looks good also.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

Great Combo
Date: May 9, 2009
I have been playing this setup for all of 2009 and it is a great combo. My Platinum shaft is SST PURED and I built it to 45" in length. My 08 driver was a 11.5* but I went with a 10.5* for this head because it has a fairly high launch angle. I have picked up about 10 yards because my launch angle and spin rate is just right (about the same carry but more roll as my 08 driver). It is a very solid driver is both sound and feel. I am hitting 2 to 3 more fairways per round on average and can work the ball very easily when I want a fade or draw. You should give this driver a try if you are looking for a new driver.
FYI: My swingspeed is 98mph (smooth tempo) so I went with the regular flex since it is a firm regular flex shaft.
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value, Features, distance

Outstanding performance
Date: April 23, 2009
Bought this to help improve accuracy and distance off the tee. My current driver (350 cc Cobra) frequently left me with lengthy 2nd shots to the green Too, my trajectory tends to be flat (line drive) and I wanted to get the ball up in the air. With this combination; problem solved. I was worried that I did not have a chance to try it out before purchase. But once I hit the first practice drive, "no worries mate". My buddies have all commented on how much the "off-the-tee" part of my game has improved. The weight option also helped achieve higher ball flight. Great driver for a senior golfer!!!
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Features
Cons: not an inexpensive club

Straight and Long
Date: April 23, 2009
I purchased this bundle the end of March. I set the shaft up with a firm flex. I'm used to hitting stiff flex but was measured, and to my surprise am at about 90 to 95 mph swing speed. I recommend getting fitted before purchasing anything. The staff at the local Golfsmith are full of useful info to help. First time out I couldn't believe how straight it was. Even the miss hits made it back to the fairway. I have a natural draw of about 20 yards, I think this club has cut that in half. My distance is maybe 10 yards longer, but on a more consistant basis. Thanks Ron at Golfsmith Clearwater!
