Holy cow!
Date: March 12, 2007
I've had my FT-i (10 deg, draw, Speeder shaft) for about four weeks now and it has changed my golf game dramatically and for the better! Having struggled for decades with errant drives from too many different drivers to count, I have been simply amazed by this driver's performance. I hit it straight, with a high launch angle, and I'm getting a good 10-15 yards more distance than with the previous drivers.

Could Hardly Believe it!
Date: October 26, 2009
I'm at best a bogey golfer...my drives almost always have seemed to fade, usually into trouble. No matter how I played it, I lost distance and playability on most drives. My 3-wood is better, but usually sacrificed distance. Then I received the FT-i Draw driver as a gift. My 1st drive was about 270 yds in the middle of the fairway. I shot a 74 (2-over-par) on my first round...my whole game just blossomed..my chips and putts were great...I'm not naive enough to believe it was all due to my new driver, but I can hardly wait to play again. Thanks, Callaway! I kiss the club after each drive!

Great Deal on a Really Nice Driver
Date: October 13, 2009
Most consistent driver I have out of the many I have.
Stiff graphite shaft. I feel in control of the head throughout my swing. The i Driver does not set new distance records. But the few yards lost are worth the additional control. My slice, and it was a real one, is not controlling my game anymore. I am now in position to hit greens, not T it up again. The deal Golfsmith had on this driver was incredible.

Helped fix my slice
Date: September 29, 2009
I had the worst slice with my old driver. I had to line up almost at a 45 degree angle to the left just to try and keep anything in play. This driver has helped that out tremendously. I still slice the ball a little bit but it is a radical difference and i am getting much more distance on my drives. I have not gotten to use it a ton yet but i am very excited to get on the course again! It is only getting 4 stars because i have not had enough time with it to figure it out completely yet but i hopefully will be able to change that to a 5 in no time.

I have always struggled with a driver but this driver with a stiff shaft has great distance. Accuracy is up to the golfer but it certainly can hit the ball straight and long. I would definitely buy again and recommend.

This is the best club I have ever hit. I am an average golfer, 87-90 on a good day. I struggled with a driver for many years and actually given up and hit a 3 wood for about 4 years until I found the FT-I. I have hit this driver for a year and NEVER slice. I love it and you will too!

FT-I versus FT-IQ
Date: August 18, 2009
I own a homemade squarehead driver and like the straight drives but it was stinging my hands and paint chipping off the club. So, I decided to go mainstream with the square head but couldn't decide on a Callaway FT-I or FT-IQ. The FT-IQ got all the hub-bub about power and shape over the FT-I but with the added expense. So I went to a local sports store and tried them both in a 10 degree version on a simulated range. Hit two big buckets of balls on each driver. The FT-IQ averaged three (3) yards longer on all drives. Both drivers averaged drives straight down the fairway. I am a 14-15 handicapper with a 98 mph swing speed and use a regular shaft. The FT-IQ was $499 new while the FT-I was $149.99 and I got a 10% off GOLFSMITH coupon when signing up for their newsletter. So, the cost to performance was a no-brainer and I purchased the FT-I. When I added in a 99 cent divot tool, my purchase went over $150 before discount and I got free shipping too. Can't wait to take this out on the course.

The club is easy to hit well. The high MOI helps keep the ball in the middle. However, to get that better control you give up some distance- for me about 10 yards.

This is a really nice driver. I honoestly feel the difference compared to a netrual bias driver when I swing it. I also can say it has a large sweet sport and is very forgiving on miss hits too. Thought twice about buying it when it was at $399 and $299, but for the $185(shipping incling) I paid it is the best driver I've ever owned.

I've only used this club twice so take this review for what it's worth. I have been using a Taylormade R7 for about 3 years and really like it. I usually hit it straight or with a draw. Once in a while a duck hook - no slices. The first day using the FT-i I could not hit it. I dribbled every drive. I went back the next day and creamed every drive. I did notice that when hit correctly - I have MUCH MUCH higher launch angle and the ball does tend to be very straight. I carry a Skycaddie and therefore honestly did not notice any increase in distance. If a 460cc club feels like swinging a pumkin, this club might be just right for you. I'm going to continue to use his club and leave the R7 in the closet. If you decide to buy, give youeself some time getting use to the odd shape before it joins your other experiments that went sour.

Amazing worth $600

Playing with a blown out ACL in my right knee. Picked this club up yesturday and it added half the distance back that I lost with the injury and it greatly reduced the bananna ball I have going on right now.
This club in my eyes is just as important as my wedge now. It will never leave my bag. My golfing partner hit it also and it was amazing at the distance he got off it. Needless to say he's going to get one this weekend.

Ft-i 9* draw with Fujikura Speeder Stiff
I've been through 5 drivers in the past year. Nothings unseated my Cleveland Launcher.. Until now. This bad boy is easy to swing, and helps me hit straighter and longer. I've read some reviews that mention losing distance with the FT-i, but I've actually gained yardage. It could be the head/shaft combination, or just my comfort level, but I've gotten a consistent 20+ extra yards with this club.
That said, I have a slice and this hasn't cured it. It's helped on smaller mis-hits, but a truly bad swing is still going to push/slice.

This Driver Definately Helped
Date: June 18, 2008
I ordered this Driver in a 10 Degree, Aldilda NV, stiff flex.
I recently started playing again 2 months ago after about a two year layoff, and i have had a horrible slice, that i just had not been able to get rid of.
I got home yesterday from playing 18 sliced filled holes, to find this waiting for me. I took it out this morning....and off the first tee...hit a shot straight down the middle, and 30 yards longer than i had been driving before.
On several holes i still had a slight slice, but they were definately playable shots, where in the past they were out of bounds.
It sounds a little different than any driver i have ever heard, but it is definately a keeper.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use
