Very Impressive Lob Wedge
Date: May 19, 2009
From someone who has never cared for a Lob Wedge I'm finally hooked. I really like the appearance of the club and getting the 9% bounce was a great call for the course I play and my swing.
I had a Cleveland prior to his and it had too much bounce and I never trusted it. I got the MDG setup and I can tell you that it does seem to make a huge difference.
I hit a low, knockdown, 40 yard shot with this thing. It hits with a bounce forward and then MAJOR BREAKS!!! Stopped on a dime.
Having the ability to hit shots like that pretty much on command made this wedge stand out for me.
It seems solid, and it's not one of those lob wedges you have to massacre to get to go anywhere. I'm very happy with it.
Pros: Quality, Durability, Features
Cons: it's forged of course but it does want to rust

OH MY GOD!!!
Date: February 16, 2009
This wedge is ridiculous. I never really got spin with my old wedges but the first round i played with these the same thing happened twice. I was about 80 yards out and it landed near the pin but then it spun back about 15 feet. These wedges have crazy spin. BUY THEM!!!
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value, Features, crazy spin

Great Lob Wedge 60*
Date: April 27, 2008
Bought this wedge slightly used (used as a demo club). The Mack Daddy grooves grab and spin the heck out of the ball on the green. Was a die-hard owner of the Taylor-Made Rac tour wedges...these are absolutely on par! Useful as a sand wedge with the nice high 10 degrees of bounce. Love the smoke finish.

Excellent 60 deg wedge
Date: March 28, 2008
The clubhead is a nice blend between a teardrop shape and flat leading edge. I don't know why but it does seem to follow through impact better than other wedges. (I've also used Cleveland, Mizuno and Titleist)
I'm impressed with how you can open or close the face easily and still get nice contact on chips and pitches.
Ball comes off slightly lower than other 60 deg wedges. Does not "pop up" on full or partial swings. PLENTY of spin though not so much that it requires any major adjustments.
Comes with a standard wedge shaft. I think I may upgrade to a Rifle like the other premium Callaway irons have.

Quality Wedge
Date: March 4, 2008
I've had the wedge long enough to play a couple of rounds now and it's great. This model has a better feel than the previous tour wedge, which makes it much easier to swing and follow through.

Great wedge

I love Callaway wedges. I have to do very little grinding on these wedges. They have improved my short game greatly.
