shaft cracked

We bought this set about less than two month ago.
Today I went out to play golf with my son and I realize the shaft on the fairway wood was cracked like bamboo.
I am very disappointed now.
I will try to get replaced by golfsmith tomorrow.
Callaway should be more careful on this unit. I have heard other customer made exact same commnet on this set.

Good clubs

bought these for my 4 year old son. they are a little long, but i like the fact they give you 5 clubs vs. the competitors 3-4 clubs.

Awesome clubs ever

every junior golfer should have these clubs. I had these clubs for about three months now and they still work the same as if they were brand new! I am a advanced junior golfer and these clubs rock. the driver head never came off and the irons never twisted. the putter id sweeeeeeet. you an line up putts so much better. and its a odyssey 2 ball puter. Buy it . its worth the money

Great clubs

I think these clubs were a wonderful buy. My son has had the Clevland 4-8 yr. old set . After getting these clubs his game has inproved greatly. Longer distance with his drives, good control on the irons, and the two ball putter has REALY helped his putting, worth the money in our opinion.

Don't believe the marketing hype about these junior clubs having all the technology and quality of Callaway's adult equipmment. The qualify of these junior clubs is incredibly inferior. With less than a month of use by an intermediate / advanced junior golfer the following problems occurred: 1) head of the driver came off during a swing and 2) the iron heads on 3 of the 4 irons in the set twisted on the shaft so that the bore-through shaft is misaligned with the club head.
I would not recommend these clubs. At a price point of $240 per set, you should expect to have a high-quality set that will last your junior until he or she outgrows the set.
I researched several different options before choosing these clubs. The Tour Series clubs from US Kids Golf seemed to be very solid with high quality shafts, heads, and worksmanship. That is what I am going back to immediately.
Unfortunately, I bought into the Callaway hype!
