Callaway Fusion Iron Set 3-PW w/Graphite Shaft

Calloway Fusion Iron Set 3=PW w/Graphite Shaft The Big Bertha Fusion Irons are the most untraditional traditional-looking irons you will ever play. Fusion's Three-Piece Technology utilizes multiple materials in clubhead construction to move mass where it does the most good. The Three-Piece Technology is lightweight titanium that is used in Fusion Irons to make the rest of the club heavier. The lightweight titanium face is 35% lighter than a comparable steel face, allowing more mass to be moved to the club perimeter for faster ball speed, greater feel, a larger sweet spot, forgiveness and increased effective hitting area. To form the heavy cradle, Callaway Golf metallurgists created an entirely new metal alloy called Tunite, which is a base of tungsten and nickel. A small amount of silicon softens the mixture and ferro-chromium is added for a polished look. The Tunite cradle allows 77% of the mass to be positioned around the extreme perimeter of the iron for ultra-high MOI (Moment o

Graphite Shaft Callaway Fusion Irons

I have been playing golf for a few years now and have picked up the game rather quickly. I was a little confused when the matter of purchasing new golf clubs came up and finally decided to get the Fusions over the comparable Taylormade, Ping and Nike irons. I would have to say that I am extremely pleased with my decision. These irons are extremely easy to hit and its amazing how easy it is to shape shots that i couldnt shape with my previous irons. The only thing that i could complain about is the fact that its so easy to spin the ball with these clubs that i find myself doing so even when im not trying to draw a ball back. I would recommend these irons to players of all skill levels and can guarantee that you will shave a few strokes off of your game with them.

Fabulous irons
Date: May 30, 2007
I have been playing with these irons for just on a year now and all I can say is FANTASTIC. I was custom fitted for these and my handicap has come down from 24 to 15, Such great control and great distance. I recently changed the grips and had the new Golf Pride midsize yellow and black dual durometer grips put on. Another quantum leap. great grips and soft.

Very forgiving and solid

I began having trouble with my irons last season. I was at the range one day and they had the Fusion irons as a demo. I hit a few and really liked them. So, i bought a set for Xmas. I have played 4 rounds with them and i really like the feel of these irons. Even shots off the toe or close to the hosel go where I want them to.
Be careful not to overswing if you get the graphite shafts though. Doing so will show you they go far but have a pretty nice fade.

Great feel throughout entire set. Consistently the longest and one of the easiest sets of irons I have ever played.

Fusion is my future
Date: January 18, 2006
Im a beginner, and hawe just played golf for about 4 years. I'm starting to understand how to play golf, an I I'm buying a set of Callaway fusion clubs wery soon. I where quite satisfied with my Tailor Made iron set, until i tried the graphite shafted Callaway Fusion irons. Oh, what clubs! They just fit my golfswing and gives me 25-30 yards more distance. Often my golfshots faded and i couldn't get enough distance. Whith the Fusion clubs I can control the ballflight and distance fairly easily. I recomend these irons to any high or mid handicap player.

I was looking for a club to help reduce vibration as I've had two rotator cuff surgeries. The fusion irons are beautiful and very forgiving (I tried a set in firm graphite). Love the trajectory and distance, but just couldn't get used to the offset look at address. I've used player's blades for 20 years and the set up of these irons are too offset and don't allow me to work the ball at will. Great clubs for someone needing technology to improve their game.

you really don't get much better than these irons. They are th eperfect combination of forgiveness (which I need) and playability (which I like to think I need). My old irons, Cleveland TA3s, felt good when I hit the sweet spot, but punished me when I was a bit off. I'm not abad player, but I'm not so good I don't need some leeway. When you hit these you'll see what I mean. They feel like butter and the trajectory is beautiful. You may get more distance than usual which you'll have to get used to. But it's worth it.

The Best Yet
Date: January 10, 2006
I just received a set of the Callaway Fusion Irons and have had the opportunity to play a number of rounds with these clubs. I have to give a great review to the technology behind the design of these clubs. In my 35 years in playing the game, these are by far the BEST set of irons I have ever owned. I had the opportunity to let my son-in-law play a round of golf with these irons also. Even with him being a 4 handicaper and being used to his own irons, the first thing he told me was "Dad, what a great set of irons. I just ordered a set for myself". Can't say much more than that, again a great set of irons.
