I agree with everything the first two reviewers mentioned about the G-40 irons. Until a few months back, I played with the Golfsmith Pro Cavity Forged irons and really loved that set. I made the switch to the G-40's because I desired aesthetically a more "blade-like" design. As a eight-handicapper, the G-40 is the perfect set for someone who desires the performance of a blade with the forgiveness of a cavity back. I built up the set with Royal Precision 5.5 shafts and Lamkin Crossline grips and I must say they look beautiful. Highly recommended and think I will build a back up set just in case something happens to the first.
