CLEVELAND HiBore XLi Iron Set 3-PW with Graphite Shafts

Clevelamnd HiBore XLi Iron Set 3-PW with Graphite Shafts The Cleveland HiBore XLi Irons deliver XL distance plus better accuracy and forgiveness. Thin cupface technology generates higher ball speed and increased stability, while progressive sole width and offset give you more help where you need it most. Full hollow construction pushes the CG (center of gravity) deep for better launch angles, and a 28% larger effective hitting area allows solid contact on mis-hits, resulting in long, straight drives.

XLi irons
Date: August 13, 2009
First off, because I ordered my XLi's with a longer shaft, it took 6 weeks to get. My salesman had no
clue. The club is no doubt forgiving. But, due to the
hollow head, there's no feel to these clubs. I've since
gone to a " soft " ball and that has been corrected.
After 700 bucks, I am a little disappointed. But, they
are not bad clubs. Don't expect any miracle changes
in your scores.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use
Cons: Poor Design

Wow, must be cheater clubs
Date: July 29, 2009
I've recently gotten back into playing golf after 6 years off. My best score at my local course was a 97.
I went 3 times to the store and hit most of the clubs available, 09 Callaway Big Bertha, Calloway fusions, Taylor Made, Adams A4os, X-22's, Nike ignite, the new Nikes, and the Cleveland XLi irons. I kept coming back to the Hibore XLi's because on the simulator I hit them farther and more consistent that any of the others. I let a pro watch me hit the different clubs...he suggested these Cleveland's for me and I couldn't be happier.
After my first round with the new clubs, I shot an 86 dropping 11 strokes off my best game. All I can say is wow they are worth every $.
Mishit’s are minimized, shots go farther and straight. I didn't lose one ball. The only problem I didn't like is the PW doesn't seem to hit well in tall grass or a poor lie. It doesn't cut through stuff very well.
Great clubs. If you want to hit it straight every time, higher and farther than normal...buy these!

Excellent clubs
Date: July 3, 2009
I have owned several brands of clubs in the past.
These are very easy for me to hit. I like the looks at set up very much and I get very good distance.
Price is reasonable compared to other brands.

A big advantage

These clubs give a big advantage over conventional irons. They are truly a complete set of hybrids, and much easier to hit with than conventional irons.

SOFT TOUCH!
Date: October 24, 2008
I have always played the names for show at various private clubs. But now that my swing speed has slowed, and I have turned the corner to focus on accuracy I needed something to keep my shot moving without taking "my tailored shot" out of the swing. I can fade; draw and drop the ball where I want it. A big plus is I don't feel any reverberation out of these clubs at all. This is an excellent club if you already have a hybrid in your bag. Its tough to change, but after a round or even a session just hit off the matt at the store you may find yourself a new set of clubs.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value, feel like a dream
