CLEVELAND CG 7 Tour Iron Set 3-PW with Steel Shafts

Cleveland Golf CG-7 Tour Iron Set 3-PW with Steel Shafts: The CG-7 Tour irons provide the technical support every golfer is looking for: feel, distance and forgiveness. Feel comes in the form of 3600 Gelback Technology, a one-piece vibration-damping insert. Superior distance is the result of Dynamic Microcavity Technology, progressively sized microcavities for optimized CG location. And Heel/Toe Muscle Weighting delivers a 6% greater MOI than traditional irons, for maximum forgiveness on miss-hits. Designed for better players, these Tour model irons have slightly higher lofts in the 6-iron and shorter clubs, as well as less offset.

Best irons I ever purchased
Date: October 11, 2009
I also purchased these clubs on a whim because of the promotion. I was hesitant because I am a +8 and have never owned a "tour" iron.
Prior to these I played the TM RAC LT that were reshafted w/x100's. I thought I would never find a club that I liked as much. I have found that the CG7 Tour clubs are more workable. I naturally hit a high ball and I have found a more penetrating ball flight with these. The clubs feel smooth on contact and I am gaining about 5-8 yards more distance over my last set of irons.
I may not trade these back regardless of the promotion!

Feels like forged!
Date: September 29, 2009
I've always played forged blades, Hogan, Mizuno, MacGregor and have been hesitant to switch to a cast club. After hitting these I was very impressed with their feel as well as still being able to work the ball. The back insert really makes the club feel like butter, even when mishit. Only vibration comes when you badly thin the shot. Best looking clubs i've seen in awhile. Cleveland has a current promotion if you buy before end of 2009 that you'll be able to trade them in on a new set over the next 2 years...the problem is that I will hate to part with them!

Great Irons
Date: July 11, 2009
I just bought these irons because of the new promotion. I couldn't be more happy. I can't talk about the durability right now, but they appear to be great clubs. They are a workable club, but with more forgiveness than I expected. As about a 1 HCP, I found them a great players club, but I have a friend who is a +3 and another who is a 10, and they both loved them. Overall, just great clubs.

Couldn't Be Happier
Date: March 14, 2009
I purchased a set of these (4-PW) on a whim and it could be the best set of irons I've ever played. As a 14 handicap, I've always been afraid of "tour" level clubs.
The beauty of these clubs is that they are workable, but the insert makes them extremely smooth and forgiving too.
After a few rounds I really couldn't be happier. The thin top line inspires confidence in a tour shaped iron and the clubs cut through the earth with ease.
Highly recommend.
