CLEVELAND Launcher 09 Combo Set 3H, 4H, 5H, with Graphite and 6-PW with Steel Shafts

Cleveland Launcher '09 Combo Set 3-5H with Graphite and 6-PW with Steel Shafts The Launcher is Cleveland Golf's first traditional hybrid design featuring a classic, Tour-driven shape. Engineered on an iron chassis, the hosel to leading edge transition inspires confidence at address. At 11% larger than any previous Cleveland model, the Launcher's face is among the biggest in the market, providing a huge hitting area for amazing forgiveness. Extended Horseshoe Perimeter Weighting extends outside of the base chassis to position weight extremely low and deep. This advanced weighting produces a low and deep center of gravity and Cleveland's highest MOI ever (3000) for an exceptionally consistent, mid-trajectory ball flight. The parabolic leading edge of the face is designed to reduce unwanted digging at impact, allowing you to aggressively attack the ball from the fairway without the fear of a fat shot or a deep divot.

i purchased these clubs because of the special trade-in run by cleveland. i am extremely satisfied with them. quality built clubs, they are easy to hit and the hybrids are awsome. i did have to change the grips, the original grips seem hard and thin and with arthritic hands i need a jumbo grip. first set of clevelands i ever owned and i am not dissapointed with them. excellent clubs

New clubs What a difference
Date: October 23, 2009
The debate was on. I finally made the decision to purchase a set of new irons after all these years. I looked at all the irons on the market. I finally purchased a set of Cleveland Launcher. One article I read stated the golfer lost 10 yards per club. That’s not true, I didn’t lose any distance at all. I actually gained about 4 to 8 yards. But most important was the accuracy and feel, it was unbelievable. I could actually feel the club head hitting the ball. What a difference. If you're an average golfer then take a few minutes out of your busy day and play a round with these new Cleveland Launchers. I know you will be completely satisfied. The final decision to purchase these clubs was the offer that Cleveland made. Purchase a select 2009 Cleveland iron set through December 31 and you will be eligible to upgrade these clubsnext year.

I thought I needed some Game-Improvement clubs after a 5 year layoff in golf. I did not expect them to be so huge. I realized fairly quickly that I do not need something so forgiving that you can't tell if you hit the ball good or bad because they all feel and travel basically the same. I want to be able to work the ball as well and I could NOT with these irons. I'm trying to get better, not stay the same mid-handicapper I am now. Back to Mizuno for me!!! NOTE: These would be great for someone starting out!

Love the irons, but am still getting used to the hybrids. I just flat out hit them too far compared to my old regular irons.
One negative. I was talked into grips that are not thick enough for me. But I will be taking advantage of the free set next year, so its alright I guess.

Great set!

I've owned the Launcher irons for three weeks now and I am very pleased with my "new" game. The hybrid 3H, 4H and 5H are just what I needed to improve my long game. Used a set of Ping Eye 2 clubs for years and I find the Cleveland clubs much easier to hit.

For the high handicapper

I purchased these, but later returned them. I really liked the irons, but the hybrids were not for me. I just cant hit them with my hook. My friend really liked the hybrids so I think if you are a hybrid person this is a great set. Just wish they had an option with a regular 4 and 5 iron.
