Excellent clubs
Date: October 8, 2009
The shafts vary greatly (as they should) between the low-kickpoint gold shafts and the higher kickpoint red shafts.
The heads on the hybrids have a slight draw bias.
High quality clubs. The higher lofts on the XLS (compared to other companies and compared to the Launcher) mean that they might not be your longest hybrids, but I hit a lot of greens with them.

This is such a great hybrid, I can hit it as high as I need to and still get the distance and accuracy that I desire. With the low center of gravity you really don't need to help the ball in the air. I have tried many other hybrids and this is by far the easiest one to hit.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Value
Cons: Poor Design

Great when you're in trouble
Date: October 8, 2008
The first two shots I took with it saved both holes. One from the ruff cut through the thick grass with no problem. The second was a tee shot that landed about 15 feet from the pin, the closest ever for me on a hole I've played at least fifteen rounds. GREAT rescue club!
Pros: accurate, feels good in your hands

I have never hit a hibrid before and I got the buy the hibore xls driver and wood and get the hibrid free and that was a great choice. I got the 2 hibrid and that replaces my old 5 wood in my bag.

Great feel - Consistent Distance
Date: July 1, 2008
I tried almost every type of hybrid to replace my "original" TaylorMade rescue. I found the Cleveland to be the most consistent in terms of distance and ball flight. Off center hits may lose a bit of distance but there is no real "spray effect". This club looks great at address and the feels great at impact. Also, it is easy to get the ball out of the rough.
This club has minimal offset and it is easy to work the ball...if hitting from the fairway or tee.
I use the 16 degree with an average carry distance of 220 and 230 total distance.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use

I bought the 3iron and I'll swing 75% and it'll carry 185 yards. I also weigh 125 pounds, it's an easy swinging bomb. What impresses me by far the most is the soft landing. I'll be hit it on the green and it will 1 hop n stop. Amazing

great hybrid
Date: April 4, 2008
while going through a clubset analysis to determine any gaps in yardage I was given a cleveland hi-bore xls to hit. the ball flew longer with far fewer misses than with other hybrids I have used in the past. With some hybrids you hit a couple of clubs well but not all of the clubs feel as good. With the xls I could hit the one as well and more importantly as consistently as the five. I now have 1-5 in xls hybrids in my bag to cover from my six iron up to my driver. I recommend anyone looking at a hybrid hit this club.

Great Hybrid ever
Date: February 11, 2008
I hit the Cleveland driver pretty well so when I purchased my first Cleveland hybrid I was pleased that it was a smaller version of my driver so I had almost immediate confidence over the ball. My initial purchase was the 2-iron to replace my 5-wood and I was very please with how well I hit it so quickly. It looked good, felt good, and had the results I wanted. I then bought the 3-iron equivalent hybrid and again I hit it much better than I ever hit my iron. My plan is to purchase the 4 and 5 iron equivalents and then my bag will be complete or at least that's what I'm telling my wife. :>)
