What a great club!!
Date: August 6, 2007
I was out on the course with a friend and watched him hit this club. The ball flew off the club and went forever!! After a couple of weeks of not having the right club to "rescue" me from 200+ in the rough I decided to go pick up something.
I got the cobra baffler and went to the driving range. One of the best clubs I've ever hit!! I would recommend to anyone who's looking for that missing club!

Thank Goodness

I am a 10 Handicapper and I have been looking for the missing link on lowering my scores. I did some research on all kinds of Hybrids out there (within my budget) and came to the conclusion that I was either going to buy the TaylorMade Rescue Mid or the Cobra Baffler. I hit both at Golfsmith, and right away I knew that the Baffler was the club for me and could be the club for many others. Later that day I took it out to the course and was even more impressed on how I was hitting it and how forgiving of a club that it was. I found the missing link and was able to shoot a 78. WOW!!!! (My personal best)

easy to hit, hard to beat

when I woke up today I knew I was going to get a new hybrid. I just didn't know which. I tried out almost all of the hybrids out there. I must admit, I went there expecting the cobra to be the best because I play Cobra drivers and woods, but when I tried the Baffler, I would hit it way too high. I was leaning toward the rescue dual, but then the associate at golfsmith told me to try a steel shafted baffler. I hit it and man did it blow all the others away. It had the right launch traj, it was 15 yards longer than the rescue and the graphite shaft baffler, and I could work the ball a little more. Needless to say I bought it and couldn't be happier.
