LYNX Lynx Black Cat Tour CN-1 Fairway Head

Untitled Document Lynx Black Cat Tour Fairway Wood: Tour quality. Tour sound. Tour performance. That's what our focus groups - and everyone else who has tried the new Lynx Black Cat Tour Fairway Wood - have to say. Ideal for players seeking to maximize distance and control through adjustable weighting and center of gravity (CG) bias, they feature a traditional look from the set-up position and incorporate a sculpted sole with two rearward adjustable weights. The fairway woods are precision cast in 17-4 stainless steel with a CN-1 ultra-high strength steel that is just 2mm thick. This special steel alloy matches both the performance and acoustics of the driver.

poorly designed

The head colapsed from impacting the ball on the top. It caved in, as it struck the ball near the top of the face of the club and continued to colapse further each time I struck the ball near the top of the face of the club until it failed completedly.
Cons: Poor Design, Durability

This is a good value in a club head. I put this head on a regular steel shaft and found it to be really easy to hit. It has adjustable weighting in the head, but I found that there was a little draw bias in the head with a balanced set up. I chose this head primarily for the sole radius, which i thought would help to get the ball off the deck. It seems to perform as i had hoped.

This Lynx product was mated to a UST PROFORCE V2, extra stiff shaft. The result was a beautiful trajectory, straight and true. I am very pleased with this club and the wait was worth it.
Pros: Quality, Good Value, Features, looks great and performs too
Cons: didn't come with a lynx head cover

After assembling this club, I was looking for something that would fill in my 170 to 180 distance. This club did exactly what I wanted it to do. Straight and long. Couldn't ask for much more.....

I bought the 3 and 5 woods and assembled them with SST PURED UST V2 High Launch shafts and Snake Eyes Winn Grips (D-4 swingweight). These are the best fairway woods that I have hit to date and they are great looking clubs. They have a semi shallow face height so they are easy to hit off of the deck and tee. I hit them on a mid to high trajectory. They feel and sound very solid, they set up very square and the moveable weights helps me to customize my ball flight and swingweight. I would highly recommend them to mid to low handicap players.
