GOLFSMITH HI-Cor Driver Head
Golfsmith Hi-COR Driver Head: Hi-COR drivers have a solid reputation, providing a club to middle to higher handicap players seeking high flight with relatively low spin. Hi-COR titanium driver heads utilize a forged 15-3-3-3 beta titanium face which is 30% stronger than 6-4 titanium. The latest in the Golfsmith Hi-COR series continues to focus much of the mass in the rear of the head with the rear crown step design. 15 degree club head

Excellent head. Useful for teeing off where high obstacles are near or where you want the ball to stop at 180 - 200 yards (with ~100 mph club head speed). Even better, I can hit this club (a driver) off the ground more reliably than a fairway wood.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value, Durability

Her Best Driver

Put this 15 degree head together with a Hi-Cor shaft for my wife. She now hits drives higher and longer. This has added a new dimension to her game. She can't wait to get to the course.

Good for high age powerless swinger!

13.5 degree loft head was assembled with GS-50 L-flex 54grams shaft. 44.25" club length brought D-1 swingweight. Before test,
I wondered if I can swing it as I used to C-7 swing weight. My first test was excellent. It was much better than my expectation. All straight shot with good trajectory. Friends say
good distance for 79 years old man. Shaft feeling is smooth with good contact sound.
I'm happy with it and start thinking fairway woods with the same materials.

Assembled with matched hi-cor shaft - achieved excellent weight and balance. A great driver for my senior game, better than TM Burner that I've tested.
