I did not grant my Enterprise NCC-1701 putter 5-stars because I found a flaw that had to be corrected. The flaw was the urethane face of the putter. It was simply too soft for the greens that I play on. While it was great for those tough downhill putts that you simply have to breathe on to get started, it was too forgiving on those uphill putts. The putts tracked straight and true to my intended line, each and every time. The problem was that the soft urethane face made me take a much stronger stroke than I was comfortable with. My simple solution was to take one of my lead-tape weights, and apply it to the face. It fit perfectly, and also provided me with a confirming mark to assure me that I struck my putt in the exact center of the clubface. Hard to believe that the "hardness" of the lead-tape made all the difference in the world. The down-hillers were still easy to coax into the hole, or close enough for a tap-in, and the other putts were much easier to stroke normally. I had my Enterprise made 33" long, with a Tiger Shark oversized grip, and am pleased as pie with my star-ship of the greens. She's no longer just a novelty must-have for any Trekkie golfer. With the modification that Spock himself would have been proud of, she is beautiful, but deadly on the galaxy of greens, just as her namesake will be in the galaxy of stars, of the 23rd Century. Live long, and prosper!
