Heavy Putter missed the boat.
Date: March 14, 2006
The concept behind the Heavy Putter is to reduce picking the putter up on the putting stroke and coming up short. The weight kit is insufficent in the overall goal, because the weight range isn't broad enough to really help those of us who need the product in the first place. The Putter comes with 2 22.5 gram weights, and the kit offers 17 grams and 35 gram substitute weights, ah but supposedly there are 47 gram weights available which would make a real difference in feel and performance. I don't see a lot people wanting to lighten this putter so the lighter weights are a waste of time and money. If Heavy Putter added the heavier weights for the same money it might be worth it.
