The FT-9 Tour Neutral added 10-20 yards to my drives. I have an Aldila NVS in my head, and this combination works well for my swing. The slightly open face is pleasing to my eyes at address. Impact feels very good, a soft yet strong, I almost forget it's a composite driver. I went thru numerous drivers in the past four years-- 4 Taylormades, 5 Pings, 1 Nike, 1 Titleist, and the FT-9 is my 4th Callaway; and it's my favorite thus far. The only negative is the cheap foamy headcover. Callaway needs to make it thicker and provide more protection for this pricey composite head.

great driver

I've played the FT-9 I-MIX with the rayon fubuki shaft (stiff flex) for several rounds now. I have the FT-I I-MIX also, and with various shafts could NOT manage to avoid losing it right. (i'm right handed). The FT-9 is very easy to control both ways. I havent hit a driver as well as this one since my r7 425. Ive been searching for a 460cc driver that I could hit just was well and I think I finally found it. Great product, and great price with the buy it get a fairway wood deal. I'm a Taylormade guy usually but this is a great club.

FT 9.5 Tour Neutral

I recently purchased the FT-9 9.5 Tour Neutral IMix after going through countless fittings. The club has been great so far. It is a lower launch and low spin bomber. I like the I-Mix version because I have a tendacy to change shafts.

FT-9 I mix head
Date: April 4, 2009
I'm a long time Callaway golf buyer.. I started with the Warbird and it went from there. I'm now using the FT-9, This year I'm using the Tour series Draw (push right). I love the fact the "Tincan sound" is gone. You can see how the weight displacement helps with the flight and direction of ball. The open face compared to the closed face looks so much better, the closed face kept my ball too far left. I love how they squashed the head and made it longer in back. It really does have a hot face. I'm 42 and I'm a 3.7 handi. and still putting the ball 270-285 yrds. thanks to Callaway Engineers. I wish they made the bottom with a little more metal, I come in steep and tend to hit my toe first, at the end of the year the bottom of my driver is worn at the toe. It's worth the money, you find the right shaft and lenght you are set for years.. just buy the new head.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Features
Cons: Durability, bottom of head too much fiber material not enoug
