LYNX 2008 Predator Ti Driver

Lynx 2008 Predator Ti Driver The 2008 Lynx Predator Ti Driver features a bullet-shaped head design that allows the CG (center of gravity) to be placed lower and deeper into the head than most drivers, producing an optimal launch angle for high launch, low spin drives. A concave cavity sole allows the player to consistently align the driver square to the target line. With maximized USGA dimensions and and extreme forgiveness, the Lynx Predator will bring your drives alive.

Very Nice Driver

This driver launches the ball high and straight as well. I bought the 10.5 to replace my 11.5 of the same model and am very happy with the purchase. I've added 10-12 yards on my drives. The flex may be a bit light for some (reg) but it suits my swing speed quite well. I've got to agree with the previous reviewer about the sound - a tin can for sure, but I'm not complaining. Another great Lynx product at a fantastic price.

VERY DISSAPOINTED

I purchased this club after purchasing other Golfsmith clubs in the past and always being very happy with my purchase. The first time I used the driver on the course it lasted for 5 holes. I hit my tee shot and the club head kept going with the ball.I couldn't believe the poor quality. I called customer service and was sent out another club. Guess what? The same thing happened again! A third club was sent and it lasted almost a whole round before it also broke.Poor Quality!!!!!
Cons: Quality, Durability, Poor Design

I recently purchased this driver to look at evening up some of my playing partners drivers. My partners were playing calloways ,Cobra, and Taylormades and had begun to hit it past me off the tee. This driver took care of that at a fraction of the cost.Picked up 30-40 yds off the tee and did not lose my accurracy. It sounds like a beer can when you hit it but who cares. Ive played TM's and Mizunos lately . This driver will put you past the big boys with a good swing
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value, Features

Best Driver I've owned

I've only had this driver for a couple of weeks but it has already added at least an average of 25 yards to my drives and I've also lost almost all of my slice.
The only thing I don't like about it is the grip and I really hate the grip. I'm going to replace it as soon as possible. It us way to hard and very hard on the right hand.
Pros: Quality, Good Value

A Nice Surprise
Date: November 10, 2008
I am a weekend golfer, and I was using a cheap, but adequate driver. I saw this Lynx Predator Ti driver in the store and it caught my attention. I took it back to the driving range and hit a whole buch of balls with it. I liked it so I bought it. I took it out on the driving range the next day and found that I hit longer and straighter than I have ever hit any ball before. The really wonderful thing was that the store was running a special and for $100.00 more, I was able to get the 3 and 5 fairway woods also. I really love all three clubs! The ball really flies off of the head of the driver. It has a nice balance and feel to it. I found that, although I nornally slice the ball, I hit 8 out of 10 balls right down the middle.
If you are looking for an affordable driver, give this club a try.
