This was a great buy. I got it for my grandsons summer vacation with me. We played four times the first week. It took him one session on the range and one round on our 12 hole par 3 to get use to the clubs. He is a tall 9 year old so these clubs fit him perfectly. The only issue was with the bag. The club slots were odd sizes and in one case to small for the club grip. I recommend this set for any jr golfer thats ready for them.
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value, Features

This was a gift to my seven year-old son last Christmas. He was so thrilled he wanted to use it in the snow! I purchased it at the local Golfsmith after seeing it online and examining it in the store. I was impressed by the set's package, quality components and discounted holiday price. His height was about 49" but the salesman said a 2" allowance is acceptable. The set was a ‘show-n-tell’ item at school. The lynx logo was the 'cool' factor since he loves wildlife. My son enjoyed using the clubs at the local range's Spring junior golf clinic. He hit the ball straighter and farther with the new clubs and we played a few nine-hole rounds throughout the season. This is an excellent starter set worth every dollar since it will last until my son out grows it.

Excellent Beginner Set

Not every kid will like golf so it is difficult to pick a set of clubs that will be sufficiently sturdy to handle the learning phase and that, if the child stops golfing, won't break the bank.
This is the third set we have bought for ages 10-12. We have also bought a set 8-10 for the younger child and all of them have liked the quality and easy of use. The set is handsomely packaged and the price is right.
