MacGregor MT 460 Driver The MT 460 Driver delivers all the benefits of Cup Face 360 deg Technology in a classic, Tour-inspired pear shaped head with medium face depth. The face is a variable thickness forged 15-3-3 Beta Titanium Cup Face, plasma welded to the 6-4 titanium body for maximum and controlled CT over the majority of the face, making the entire club face the sweet spot. So even off-center or miss-hits will send the ball directly down the fairway. The MT driver is weighted to have a neutral to draw bias while maintaining a square look at address and producing low to medium spin rate. Weight triangulation in the sole shaping enhances MOI so you can expect nothing less than remarkable distance and forgiveness.

I love the driver, I have the XS aldila DVS65 shaft and I love it. The spin rate for this driver was half what my old driver was so I am now flying it farther and getting more roll. Great purchase, thinking about buying a backup while they are still available.

Best driver that I have ever hit. I have two, one with the Aldila shaft and one with the Mitsubishi shaft. Both are X flex. Straight, and long. Very workable too. Draws and fades work well for me. Total shame that Macgregor failed because they were making great stuff. I play the wedges and irons too. I have been playing in the 70's with the m- pros, but then saw a set of pro C's and bought them right of the display. Please Golf Smith, make um better if you can, but don't change them too much, Norman really had a good thing going with this last series of irons, wedges, and woods. What they need is better marketing: pick up some dynamic tour pros, get some nationwide guys, and do some cool classic commercials with the greats winning the tourney,s playing Macgregor's. Make it stylish and retro, then watch your Macgregor sales rocket.

MT460 A Pro's driver

Hands down, one of the best drivers ever made. Classic shape, nice sound, top quality construction and most of all, an open club face! A TOUR Pro's driver, no doubt. No wonder Greg Norman drove it long and straight at the 2008 British Open with the MT460. Too bad the old Macgregor company is gone. I hope GS serves the name well.
