Perfect trajectory for me. I've hit hybrids that just balloon up in the air and others where it difficult to get height.
Also, the blunt leading edge is great. With some of the other hybrids, the leading edge is so sharp, if you don't hit it perfect, they have the tendency to dig. Even if you hit the Mizuno slightly fat you still get a good result. Also, the blunt edge allows for more more versitility: punch shots, bunkers, etc.
A rock solid ball-striking instrument.

Best utility
Date: September 25, 2009
I bought this club after having the 23 degree club in my bag for a while. I won the 23 degree at an outing. The club is very forgiving allowing true contact out of all lies. The ball flies high and straight. The club feels stiff even with a regular shaft which induces an easy swing and better contact. These replaced the 3 and 4 irons in my bag and I find myself using them instead of a 5 wood. I have seen the pros increasingly hitting utility clubs and now I know why. The Mizuno replaced a taylor made utility 3 that i was carrying as the Mizuno is easier to hit well and true.

Perfect combination of trajectory, distance and feel. The feel and sound on center hits are amazing. It also lets you know if you made an off-center hit. The ball really goes far too. The exsar stock shaft in regular flex is just perfect for me. Better than the cleveland halo in all aspects mentioned above.

This is my favorite club in my bag. I have a set of the 3-PW MX-25s with steel shafts which are excellent by the way... Ever shot with this club makes me smile! Trajectory is spot-on and shot shaping is no problem. glides through rough ok but better than most other hybrids.
Pros: Quality, Durability, Easy to Use, Good Value, Features, it has everything to offer!

Easy to get great results with this club
Date: February 29, 2008
I just got back into golf a few months ago after a five-year layoff. Since all my gear was at least 10 years old I decided to replace it all with the new technology. I purchased a set of 4-GW MX-25 irons and decided to fill the long iron gap with a 20 deg Fli-Hi hybrid with the stiff Exsar shaft.
I don't often submit product reviews but this is a special case. To make a long story short the Hi-Fli has turned out to be the best club in my bag. I am scoring in the low 90's so I am a long way from being an expert. But it is very rare that I pull the Fli-Hi out and don't get a very good result.
I can hit down on the ball a bit and it doesn't dig in. It is the straightest club I have, but easy to work just by adjusting the club angle and swinging normally. Ball flight is penetrating and I get a consistent 200-220 yards without swinging hard.
Who needs a 3-iron? I will probably try adding a 23 degree to my bag for those long par 3's.

Beyond the Limits

It seems to me, every time I try a MIzuno club it always impresses me. Ball really leaps off this face. With my Aldila NV shaft, the trajectory is medium and very penetrating. I don't even have to think about hitting straight with this club. Pretty easy to work the ball with the CLK too. Distance is enormous and a confidence inspiring look from above. Great price compared to the Taylormade Rescue TP for as great a performance. (Althought I love the sound of the TP) Thumbs up to Mizuno.
