Best irons on the market

I had been looking for a new set of irons for some time. I'm a 16 handicap and was looking for something workable yet forgiving. I tried the X20 tours, R7 TP's and the MP 57 was the best one out there. Forged head gives a great feel, well struck shots are smooth as buttah! The players iron look is very appealing and I love being able to move the ball at will.

"Buttery" feeling not a myth

A little pricey, but I guess the quality is definitely worth it. Pro-style club head looks appealing at address, you will feel like a pro. Gain confidence when standing in the fairway, bunker, or rough that you will reach the green.
With the Project X 5.5, the ball flight seems to be a little higher than other shafts, but this will help to stop the ball on the green. I noticed a full club length difference in distance (10-12 yards longer with each club). 7-PW irons allow for excellent shot-shaping and ball control.
Mis-hits tend to not to be too bad in terms of accuracy. Recommended for all player under 12 handicap.

Mizuno MP-57's - Fantastic Clubs

I ordered these clubs after considerable research and my expectations have been significantly exceeded. The confidence I have gained and the butter feeling at contact is incredible. I have gained one club distance in every club, especially the longer irons. The slim top line looks very attractive and the clubs are easy to hit if you have played with a blade type of club before. I would highly recommend this club to a low handicapper. I'm glad I stepped up to 2008 technology. Mishits still went staighter than my old clubs and distance didn't suffer, staying linear with the control. I was reluctant to change to a new set of clubs and I am thankful I did. This summer will be the best for my golf game. The Project- X 5.5 shafts feel so strong and the ball jumps right off the face. The ball flight is more of a mid-flight than the very high ball that I used to hit, more controllable and the clubs feel like butter when you hit it closer towards the heel area. MIZUNO ROCKS!!!

These irons are untouchable! They feel so great just holding them. It is so forgiving and long of the tee. I would recommend this club to mid-hadicapped players.

BEST MIZUNO IRONS EVER

These are without a doubt the best irons Mizuno has ever made. The deeper cavity offers incredible forgiveness. I tried the MP-60s when they first came out and like my MP-32s better. When these came out I thought they were going to be similar to the MP-60s....WAS I WRONG! These are MUCH better than the MP-60s!!!! If you like the 60s, then you will LOVE the MP-57s!!! The grain flow forging makes them soft as butter. Even rock hard range balls feel like the old blata balls. The sweet spot seems to be a tad towards the heel similar to blades (BUT JUST A TAD). I took my very first swing with an 8 iron on a range at a flag 152 yards out and it hit the flag pole on the fly! Subsequent shots were right on line. Shot dispersion is VERY tight! Distance control is amazing. They are just plain deadly accurate. Miss hits stay on line and lose very little distance. The Mid trajectory ball flight and excellent distince control makes these HARD TO BEAT AT ANY PRICE. If you are looking to upgrade your irons, look no further. BUY THESE and I promise you will not regret it.
