I got to demo this model recently. I hit the 6 iron, 8 and 9. High launch, but good carry distance.
Mizuno advertises this club as the most forgiving MP club to date and I agree. You can work them just fine and they have that classic soft Mizuno forged feel.
There is very little offset in these and it is progressive. Offset-wise these are about the same as the MP-57. The club head is bigger than the MP-57, but with a remarkably thin top line.
The pocket cavity is very thin and is only in the 3-7 iron. The pockets are not noticeable at address.
These are beautiful looking irons that are a joy to hit. I would not recommend these for high-handicappers. You need to have decent ball striking skill to take advantage of these beauties.
