PING Rapture Iron Set 3-PW Blk Dot with Steel Shaft

Ping Rapture Iron Set 3-PW w/ Steel Shaft Multi-Material Technology - Club composed of a 17-4 SS body, lightweight titanium face, which saves approximately 25 grams that is re-distributed in a high density tungsten toe weight. Properly utilizing these materials increases the moment of inertia making this the most forgiving iron in the PING line Maximum Perimeter Weighting - Utilizing different materials maximizes the perimeter weighting, which substantially increases the moment of inertia for maximum forgiveness on off-center shots, while generating a very high, straight trajectory Wide Sole Design - The wide sole has positioned the CG further back to promote a high trajectory and lower spin for high soft shots into the green that don't balloon in the wind. This sole design also provides easy transition through the turf for solid ball contact Deep Undercut Cavity Design - Cavity is parallel to the ground allowing more mass to be moved away from the club face,

FORGIVENESS

Very forgiving clubs. The rapture irons launch the ball extremely high and the titanium face makes sure you do not lose distance.

Well worth the money!

Looking to play better than what you really are?? You found the right club! If you like high and deadly straight, you should buy these! WELL worth the money! Atleast a club to club and a half longer than traditional irons. These are the closest thing to "cheating" I have ever played with. Butter soft feel even on miss hits. I was using Mizuno MP-32's and played to a 5 handicap. One hour on the range to dial in distances and I shot my first sub par round of golf. I love forged irons, but I love the lower score better. Also an excellent iron to fall back on when your swing is "off" a bit.

Best Irons Ever!!!!!
Date: April 7, 2007
I just purchased the Ping Green Dot Rapture Irons and put aside my Titleist 981dci's that I have been playing with for 9 years. I took off 10 strokes with the Ping Rapture set on my first round! These clubs are very, very, very forgiving. Even on my shots that were off, I either hit the green or I was on the fringe. These irons allow you to be within par or birdie on every hole! I was not a believer in Ping clubs until I actually took them out for a round. I usually shoot around 90-94, and today I shot an 84!!!! I highly recommend the Scotty Cameron 62 Gun Metal Blue Putter as well. These irons are awesome!!!

Great clubs, great fit
Date: February 22, 2007
Was fitted at golfsmith store, great experience, combination of static and launch monitor fitting. Clubs line up nicely, get airborne quickly and go a long way. Off center hits still go straight. A very light club for such a large head. Most clubs of this type are difficult to work, but these are not. Ping did a great job as usual. I am a 13 handicap looking foward to lowering my handicap by a few strokes!

FANTASTIC!!!
Date: December 11, 2006
I got these clubs a couple of weeks ago and am extremely pleased with the results I am getting from them. I have been using the G2's for about 2 years but really liked the looks of the Rapture and wanted to try the titanium face. I find the Rapture irons very forgiving, and seem to hit the ball more consistently on line that with the G2's. Distance seems to be about the same, but it's hard to tell in the cooler weather. However, I have definitely improved my greens in regulation statistic and have been closer to the pin more often over the last few rounds.
