PING G15 Iron Set 4-PW, GW with Steel Shafts

PING G15 Iron Set 4-PW, GW with Steel Shafts The technology of the PING G15 Iron provides the high-launching, maximum forgiveness benefits that the majority of golfers rely on to bring consistency to their iron play. The stainless steel iron's cavity design features a floating Custom Tuning Port (CTP) which expands the perimeter weighting and increases the moment of inertia. Weight savings from a thinner face is re-positioned to the toe for added forgiveness on miss-hits, and the G15's wider sole produces a higher launch angle. Stronger lofts combine with a center of gravity located low and farther from the face to produce longer shots without sacrificing the higher launch angle required in a maximum forgiveness iron. Custom services such as etchings, shaft purring, and shaft cushions are available on this product with additional up-charges. Call 1-800-396-0099 for details.

Exceptional Irons
Date: October 21, 2009
I bought these irons to replace a set of AP2's. Now that I can't play/practice as much as I used to, I had to switch to a more forgiving set of irons. I went to Golfsmith (where the service was EXCEPTIONAL) looking to hit the I15s, and hit the G15s on a whim. I thought there was no comparison.
The G15s are so easy to hit. The distances are solid, and they just go where you are aiming. It is very hard to hit these fat or thin - the sole design gets the ball in the air. Mishits travel a very respectable distance.
Please don't take my word for it - go out and hit these for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Can't Wait!!!!!!!
Date: October 5, 2009
I am a 15 year-old golfer from Arizona. I have been golfing since I was 9, but I just started to really take it seriously and focus more on improving. I have been playing 3-4 times a week (every week) for the last 8 months. Before 8 months ago, I played maybe twice a year. My Index currently is 20.1. Anyways, to get to my point, I have been saving up for a new set of Irons for all of 8 months now. I finally saved up the money needed to buy a new set and started playing tons of different iron sets. I tried the Burners, the X-22s, The Rapture v2s, the AP1s, the S57s, and of course the G15s. The Burners and the X-22s were nice, but none of the other sets was even close to as forgiving as the G15s. Also, contrary to others reviews, the do not seem to hook. Anyways yesterday, after playing a round with the G15s, I had made my decision. Now, this set is a big step up from my old set (12 year old Ping ISTs). The G15s game me on average, an extra 10-15 yards a club compared to my old set. To put that into perspective, I hit my old 7 iron about 145-155. I hit the 7 iron from the G15 set anywhere from 160-175. What amazed me the most was my consistency with the G15s. I used to miss-hit around 2/5 shots (I don't mean wiff it or anything, just slice or hook or hit to fat or too thin), but with the G15s, I didn't miss-hit a single shot! With my handicap of 20.1, I usually hit around a 92 or 93, but my round yesterday with the G15s, I hit an 86, with a 40 on the back. The G15s gave me tremendous amounts of confidence in every shot.
I am expected to receive my new (and first set of good irons) set of G15s in about a week. I can not even begin to explain how excited I am!
Anyways, I highly recommend these clubs to any amateur golfer looking for some high-flying and ridiculously forgiving irons. After trying almost every other high-end set on the market, I can safely say that the Ping G15s are the most forgiving and the best Irons for me.

Couldn't be more satisfied!
Date: September 9, 2009
This is my second set of name brand irons, my Cobra II's played well, however I found myself wanting a greater degree of confidence over my iron shots. The Ping G-15 delivers in spades.
The look of the irons is good at set up, the feel trhough impact is amazing. On miss hits each club delivers unrivaled forgiveness. Distances are significantly better for me and the consistancy of ball flight is amazing.
I tested a number of irons before selecting Ping, I am more than satisfied with the product, and connot tell you how good it feels to stand over a 4 iron distance and actually look forward to pulling that club out of the bag!
The entire set gives me the confidnece to really let myself go into my swing, it's great!

Great Feel
Date: August 22, 2009
I've recently started golf lessons and the teaching pro utilized the G15 for my instruction. These clubs have great fit and finish, excellent weight and just feel good in your hand.
Forgiving on missed shots, the G15 really built my confidence when hit correctly; nice straight, high loft shots. I consistently hit the 7 iron 125-135.
I've narrowed my choice of a first set to the G15's. Can't wait to get fitted.
