PING G15 Driver

PING G15 Driver The G15 Driver is engineered for golfers seeking a maximum forgiveness driver that delivers distance and accuracy. Its elongated 460cc titanium head features an external sole weight which positions the center of gravity for a higher trajectory and reduced spin. A larger face is designed to optimize ball speed and provide consistency across the entire hitting surface. Shaft Options: TFC 149D Shaft: Premium graphite shaft designed by PING utilizes high balance point technology. This technology allows our engineers to increase the head mass approximately 5 grams without increasing swing weight or overall club weight so the player s club head speed is not affected. This results in higher ball speeds and increased MOI which yield longer and straighter drives. Aldila Serrano 60 Shaft: Premium graphite shaft designed by Aldila provides a great fitting alternative to the TFC 149 family. This shaft will generally provide the golfer with a slightly lower launch angle and spin

Another winner from Ping
Date: September 26, 2009
Purchased my G15 driver about a month ago and after 4 rounds with it i can say it is firmly in the bag. This is coming from using a G10 driver for two years, for me the G15 is longer with better roll out. But, i tend to think it is more forgiving on the mishits and that can make a big difference on your approach shots. For me anyways, it was worth the upgrade. Great job Ping!

I just bought the G15 last week as an upgrade from the G10. I dont think there is a big difference in the two but i did gain a little yardage and i think it is a little more forgiving

So What's Not To Like?
Date: September 21, 2009
This is a great driver. It is as long as it is forgiving. Ping obviously sank a lot of money into R & D before coming out with this bad boy. Even the OEM Shaft is good. Better yet--this club has balance the likes of which no Ping Driver has had since the days of the old TiSi Tec series. Because of all these factors combined, this driver is suitable for everyone from high capper to scratch golfer. Just make sure to get fitted for the right shaft.

THE G15 IS A HAMMER!!!
Date: September 18, 2009
I got this driver with the Fujikura Motore F1 stiff shaft & in 9*. This thing is a hammer! I hit alot of drivers and this combo just flat out smokes everything out there. I would say that Im at least 30+ yards longer with this club. If your looking for more distance and forgiveness this is the club for you. The feel is explosive and solid with a nice crisp sound. I just dont see how this club could dissapoint anyone from the low to high handicaper.

G15 Driver
Date: September 13, 2009
Being this is my second year at golf, I was looking for a club that was forgiving off the tee shot, and the G15 did just that! I use the 12 degree to help get extra loft.
The G15 gives me good loft and straight distance. I now get an extra 20 yards on my drives.
I would recommend the G15 to anyone who is looking for an extra 15 to 20 yards per tee shot.
I have yet to find any cons for this club, The G15 is well engineered, gives a solid feel when you strike the ball, and a good feeling to see it take off.

Nice driver.
Date: September 12, 2009
Head is elongated. Sits well behind ball.
Face not as closed at address as the i15.
Very solid feel. A bit longer than G5, more
forgiving than previous G series.

G-15 lives up to the hype!
Date: September 1, 2009
This club is hot! I have hit lots of clubs and they all range in the launch monitor from 260 to 270yrds 17-22 degree launch, 103 swing speed. Got my G-15 and hit 303 yrds!!! Tried it again 300!! are you kiddin me? one more time 296! I know these monitors are not exactly true to life but I am still hitting it close to 30 yrds farther. It lowered my spin rate from 2700 rpm-3700rpm to 1700 rpm-2200 rpm. I have been through alot of driver in the last 3 yrs, Ive hit them all off the same monitor, I have never had a driver give me those kind of numbers! This one is not leavin my bag! Try it you will see!

G15 Solid and Hot
Date: August 30, 2009
The G15 is both solid and hot. I've had the club 3 weeks and am very pleased. Club seems hot as the ball jumps off the face. It ia about 12 yds longer than my Taylor TourBurner. Setup is simple and square. There is a very slight draw bias. Launch is consistent. Mine is a 9 degree and my launch angle is consistent at 14 degrees with the Aldila Serrano shaft offerred as an option to the TFC149D Ping shaft. The Ping shaft flex is softer resulting in higher flight. The G15 is second to none in performance in both accuracy and distance. It will not disappoint.

Very Forgiving
Date: August 18, 2009
I just purchased this club, upgrading from the G10 (which I loved). I went from a 10.5 degree to a 9 degree with a stiff shaft. This is by far the most forgiving club I have ever swung. I'm getting 270-280 on flush shots and 220-230 on mis hits straight as an arrow. I couldn't be happier.
