UST Pre Pured Proforce V2 65 Wood Shaft

UST Pre-PUREd Proforce V2 65 Wood Shaft: Building on the success of the wildly popular Proforce line, the Proforce V2 Wood Shaft features a compilation of UST proven technologies. A balanced tip section promotes maximum energy transfer while the low torque reduces side spin for greater control. The Proforce V2 uses a combination of 19 types of aerospace-quality materials. These micro-fiber layers are situated in a proprietary fiber orientation to ensure constant taper and consistent flex and feel between each shaft weight category. In short, this shaft offers a responsive feel in the hands with a low torque, active tip section that releases a powerful blow for both accuracy and added carry and distance.

Great for the average golfer!

Most shafts on the market offer very few options for people who are at the low or high end of a swing speed range. I found that the UST shaft places me right in the middle where I need to be and not between shafts. Having the shaft pured was also a great choice as it does deliver in the area of consistency. Now I can stand over the ball and have confidence in knowing that I will get repeatable results on each outing.

Want Better Drives
Date: April 24, 2008
I just switched to the UST Pre Pured Proforce V2 65 Wood Shaft regular flex (85-95mph) and have hit my drives 10-15 yards longer than the Proforce XT stiff shaft, which I also liked. The V2 shaft seems to minimize pulls and pushes and keeps my drives in play. The trajectory is slightly lower than the XT shaft.

I put this shaft on the new viper 9 degree driver. It works great. I wanted a low torque shaft to keep the head from twisting yet flexible enough to give me good distance. The regular flex has proven to be the shaft for me. My swing with a driver can be as slow as 86 and as fast as 95. I am producing the longest and straightest drive consistantly with this combination.

UST V2 65gm Stiff
Date: March 13, 2006
Had played the Cleveland Comp 460 10.5* with stock Fujikura stiff shaft all last season. I really like the Comp but always felt the shaft was a bit whimpy. Trajectory was way too high with very little roll and no penetration into wind. Also, ball dispersion wasn't very tight or consistent. Having heard many good things about the UST V2, I decided to take a chance and ordered it in a 65gm stiff already SST Pured from Golfsmith and had them install it. This weekend I finally had a chance to try it out. Waaaay better than the stock shaft. Brought my ball flight down to what I'd call "mid" trajectory and that translated into more distance either with or against the wind. Just as important to me, my drives were way more consistent with MUCH tighter ball dispersion. Bottom line, I intend to put the 75gm V2 in my 5 wood next then maybe a 3 wood.
